Designer Choice Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back with another fun card that uses a *bunch* of fan favorites that you might already have in your stash. I love stretching my supplies and using them beyond their intended use/themes. It gives me so much satisfaction and joy when I craft that way! Today’s card is one such project that was inspired by a pun that I saw a few years ago on my llama loving friend’s IG caption. While going through my stash, I realized that I had all the stamps to bring this pun to life.

I first started off by creating a background using ink blended blue and green cardstock. I used two different shades of green and the Slimline Nature Border die to create the land. I then proceeded to stamp and color multiple images from the following stamp sets:

• Lovable Llama (llama)
• Woo Hoo (grad cap and diploma)
• School Time (pencil)
• Looking Sharp (cacti and party caps)
• Country Scene (mountain)
• Balloon Rides (sun and party banners) 

I then die cut the alphabets using Chloe and Loopy Letters. I decided to leave the ‘llama’ portion of the pun in white so that there is a contrast between ‘Dip’ and ‘llama’ (Diploma! if you haven’t figured it out yet). I then found ‘Congrats on your’ sentiment in Happy Home stamp set and it was just perfect for this card!

Hello everyone! Isha here with a cute scene card for you today. I love fairies, gnomes, and everything magical :)

To start, I created the sky by sponging distress oxide inks in squeezed lemonade, picked raspberry, seedless preserves. Flick some of the same inks. Die-cut the grass using Slimline Nature Border dies, sponge peeled paint distress oxide ink.

Stamp and die-cut the images and other elements. Color the stamps using Copic markers.

Snail Mail stamp: Sentiment
Outback Critters and Dies: Birds
Garden Fairy stamp and Dies: Mushroom house, snail, butterfly, flowers
Home Sweet Gnome and Dies: Gnome, mushroom

Adhere all the images to the card. Use 3d foam to some of the elements for extra dimension and interest and the card is ready.
