Guest Designer Spotlight: Garden Fairy and Feeling Froggy Cards with Marine Simon

Hi everyone, Marine here with you today, I am thrilled to be guesting for Sunny Studio! 

I have three projects to share with you, so let's start with three lovely tags featuring fairies from Garden Fairy. I colored them using my alcohol markers, and then cut three circles out of pattern papers from Spring Fling using a die from Scalloped Circle Mat 1. Stuck a fairy on each tag, and applied glitter paste to their wings because fairies always need sparkling wings!

My second project is an interactive card showcasing Garden Fairy again, as well as images from older sets: Seasonal Trees, Savanna Safari, Tropical Scenes, and Spring Scenes. Stamped all the images using alcohol marker friendly black ink, and colored everything using my alcohol markers. And to create the background, I used antique linen, mowed lawn and frayed burlap distress inks.

I created the interactive part of the card, and attached all my cute images on my panel using glue dots and foam squares. And at the end, you enter an enchanted forest where butterflies are changed into magical fairies! I wonder if such a place exists.

My third and final project features the adorable Feeling Froggy stamp set. My favorite thing is definitely building scenes, so mixed this new set with older sets to create this cute pond scene: Savanna Safari, Penguin Pals, Spring Scenes, and Best Fishes.

Started by coloring all my cute images using my alcohol markers, and I created the background using several layers: a rectangle panel, a wavy border, a grass border and a hill border. Colored all those elements using distress inks, and then assembled everything on the rectangle panel to create the scene I had in mind.
