Eggs To Dye For Cards with Candice and Tammy

Hi! Candice here getting you ready for Spring and Easter with the adorable new Eggs To Dye For stamp set!

I used these Sunny Studio products to create my Spring card:

• Eggs To Dye For stamps & coordinating dies
• Chubby Bunny stamps & coordinating dies
• Chickie Baby stamps & coordinating dies
• Scalloped Circle Mat 2 dies
• Stitched Circle Large dies
• Stitched Circle Small dies
• Slimline Scalloped Frame dies
• Slimline Nature Borders dies

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base. For my background, I went with white on white to help the bold little circles pop and first die cut the stitched panel and then 3 different sized scalloped frames with the sets of new circle dies listed above. I inked the inside circles with salty ocean and tumbled glass and glued into the center of the matching scalloped circle frame. I then die cut the grass and used the stitched circles to cut them out to fit on my little scenes. I inked the grass with shabby shutters and used foam tape to pop them up in the circles.

Next, I stamped the images from the stamp sets listed above, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I added a few details with a white pen, heat embossed the sentiments on a couple of banners in white and finished with a few pink Nuvo drops!

Hi friends! Tammy here with a sweet card featuring the newly released, Eggs To Dye For - a perfect companion to Chickie Baby to create some adorable Spring and Easter themed cards!

To create my card, I first cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using the Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies, and ink blended my background using Peacock Feathers and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide inks. Next, I cut a grassy border using the Slimline Nature Borders Dies and ink blended it with Fresh Pear and Grassy Knoll from the PinkFresh Studio Ink Cubes - Over the Hills. I cut a white rectangle and attached my inked background to it to create a little border before attaching to a light pink scalloped frame. Next, I stamped the eggs from Eggs To Dye For and die cut with the Coordinating Dies.

Next, I stamped and colored (with Copic markers) the sweet chicks from Chickie Baby and die cut with the Chickie Baby Dies. The stamped and colored images were then arranged onto my background and attached, using foam tape on some for dimension. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Eggs to Dye For with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink directly onto the background to complete my card.
