Next I used a white card stock panel that I die cut using the Frilly Frames Retro Petals die and randomly stamped the images from the set and colored only the gray portions of the images with Copic markers. After that, I added a panel of black card stock to the front of my card base and adhered my stamped panel with a strip of orange Classic Gingham patterned paper.
I adhered my images to
a die cut square and added a black card stock mat. Then I stamped my sentiment
on a strip of white card stock and attached it across the middle of the square.
I used foam tape to adhere the square to the front of my card.

Hello everyone! It's Ashley today with a fun, masculine card featuring the Tool Time set! It's perfect for those people in your life that are super handy (a.k.a. not me!).
I started by
blending a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxides in Chipped Sapphire,
Salty Ocean, and Tumbled Glass, fading into white at the bottom. I then used
the images in Tool Time and an acrylic block to randomly stamp around the background in VersaMark ink to
create a patterned paper feel. Make sure to use a static pouch first to keep
powder from sticking to the blended ink! I embossed the images with white, then
added a stitched border with the Frilly Frames Retro Petals frame die. I adhered my die cut piece to some grey
woodgrain patterned paper from the Subtle Grey Tones pack.
I used the smallest Stitched Semi-Circle die to cut more grey woodgrain paper and adhered it to my card. I stamped the images from Tool Time and colored with Copics before cutting them out with the matching dies. I love that the set includes a smiley face to add to the tools! It just adds that much extra cuteness!

I finished the
card with a custom sentiment. My brother-in-law has gotten into woodworking in
the last few years, so I decided to make the card work for my daughter to send
to him. I stamped the sentiment from Tool Time in VersaMark ink on a
strip of black cardstock and embossed with white, then cut out the
"dad". I used the Loopy Letters dies to spell "uncle" as well as "saw"
in black cardstock. I glued the letters together with some strong adhesive,
then added the sentiment to the card.
