To start, the background was ink blended using various Distress Oxide inks in blue shades. The bubbles from the Tropical Scenes stamp set were stamped and white heat embossed on the background.
Seal images and coral images were
colored using Zig clean color brush markers and cut using the coordinating
dies. The images were mounted on foam squares and adhered to the
background. I added the sentiment from Sealiously Sweet stamp set and
mounted the panel onto a piece of white cardstock cut from the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace die. Stickles added to the coral to finish the card. I just
love how the white and blue contrasts with all the colorful coral!
The next card has a slider mechanism
which allows the seal in the floaty to slide back and forth. The images
are from the Sealiously Sweet stamp set and the Tropical Scenes stamp set. The waves and background sky were created using
a stencil (for the waves) and various Distress Oxide inks. The
sentiment is from the Sealiously Sweet stamp set.
The last scene features a cute
little seal eating watermelon. I love how it looks like he took one bite out of
each piece and left the rest! The ink- blended center panel was cut using the Stitched Semi-Circle dies.
Blue cardstock was embossed using the Sunburst embossing folder and added behind the die cut opening. I popped the sentiment on foam squares and adhered it to the background.
