Hey crafty friends! It's Yan
here, and today I'm sharing a cute and cozy winter scene featuring the adorable
Merry Mice Stamps Set! This card was so much fun to
assemble, and I love how all the little elements come together.
To start off, I stamped these sweet mice, snowmen, and cheese trees from the Merry Mice Stamps onto Neenah Solar White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I brought them all to life with my Copic markers and then used the coordinating Merry Mice Dies to die-cut everything flawlessly!
COPIC COLORS:
Mice: E30, E31, E35, E41, R30
Accessories / Scarves: G40, R30, R32, W1, Y00, YG03
Snowman: B000, R30, R32, YG03
Cheese Tree: E31, G40, RV11, YG03, YG63
Next, I die-cut a stitched oval from another panel of white cardstock and blended Distress Oxide Inks in Worn Lipstick and Peacock Feathers to create a soft, snowy sky gradient. Once the ink was completely dry, I heat embossed the 'merry Christmouse' sentiment at the top with white embossing powder.
For the background base, I stamped the subtle tree branch pattern from the Holiday Style Stamps onto Kraft cardstock using white pigment ink.
Now for my favorite
part—bringing the whole scene together! I popped up the stitched oval panel and
all the colored images using foam tape for extra dimension. As a final touch, I
added a few tiny snow dots with a white gel pen to give it that extra festive
winter sparkle!
I hope this card brings a smile to your face and gives you a bit of holiday crafting inspiration! Happy crafting, everyone!
