Little Buckaroo Cards & Video Tutorial with Christy & Ana

Hello, hello crafty friends! It’s Ana today sharing a card showcasing new super adorable Little Buckaroo stamps and coordinating dies.

For my card today I decided to create a little cowboy farm scene 😊 I started with stamping the cowboy and cowgirl (from Little Buckaroo stamps) and a barn, bales of hay and little chicks (from Barnyard Buddies set), colored them with Copic markers and cut them out.

I created clouds by die cutting 3 shades of blue/teal cardstock with cloud die from new Slimline Nature borders die set, and layered them together. I used the same Slimline Nature borders dies to create grassy hills, cutting them out of green cardstock and adding some shading with dark green ink.

I created the sunset in the background by ink blending Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey and Fired Brick distressed inks. On a piece of 4 x 5” cardstock, I adhered the ink blended sky, added the die cut clouds and grassy hills, then added the images.

I stamped the sentiment (from Little Buckaroo) with black ink and framed the scene with a scalloped stitched rectangle which I die cut with the large Fancy Frames Rectangle die.

These little buckaroos are just too cute for words and I just love how adorable this card turned out! Thank you so much for joining us today, I will see you next week with more cuteness from the new fall/winter release!

Hello friends, it's Christy here with my first post for Sunny Studio! Today I've got a sweet card featuring Little Buckaroos, Farm Fresh, and Harvest Mice. I stamped my images with brown ink to give them a storybook sort of feel, and colored them with Copics in a simple pastel color palette of pink, gray, yellow, and beige.

For the background, I added the tiniest hint of shading with just one marker and then "dirtied" it up a bit by adding some splatter effect with a dark brown ink. Proving that ranch girls can be delicate and dainty, or get down and dirty with the best of them!

I cut the center section of the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace out of pale pink cardstock and adhered it to the same color card base. I added my background panel across the center and blocked that in with two thin strips of gray cardstock. Then I framed the whole card with the largest Fancy Frames Rectangle popped up with foam tape, and staged the scene with my colored images.
