Fast Food Fun Watercolored Background Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a very punny card using Fast Food Fun stamps and the coordinating dies. Let's get started.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fast Food Fun Background Basics Watercolored Background Pizza Card by Lexa Levana

First, I cut a piece of watercolor paper and used Distress inks to create the background. I scribbled some Candied Apple and Spiced Marmalade on an acrylic block then sprayed some water onto it. After that, I pressed it to the watercolor paper until I was satisfied with it. To speed up the process, I used my heat gun to dry the watercolor splash. I also added some polka dots in the background by using the Background Basics stamp and some pink embossing powder. It added so much texture to my card.

I stamped the pizzas three times with Versafine black ink and watercolored them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. It makes me crave some pizza right now! Then I stamped the sentiment on the bottom part with the exact same black ink. The golden hearts are added for more sparkle and fun.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you like today's card. Have a wonderful day to you and your beloved ones!

Hello Sunshine Summer Themed Card with Vanessa

Hello everyone! Vanessa here today with a summer card inspired by my new sofa cushion. You can find inspiration everywhere, just turn around!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Beach Babies Hello Word Die Summer Themed Hello Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I started with a panel of watercolor paper and stamped the umbrellas from Beach Babies with light brown ink. Then I colored the images and the background with Peerless watercolors and stamped the "sunshine".

After I had adhered the panel to the card base, I die-cut the Hello Word Die from dark grey cardstock and added it to the card.

I hope you'll find something that inspires you, too! It can make you give your stamps a completely new look :) Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Fourth of July from Sunny Studio Stamps!

Just wanted to pop in and wish you all our American friends a safe and happy Fourth of July today.  Hope you have a wonderful time with friends and family!

To celebrate the occasion I created a little card combining our Sock Hop stamps with the flag from Stars & Stripes and some papers by Pebbles Inc.  I like to think of it as "pets on parade".  :)

Hello Sunshine Summer Themed Card with Franci

Hi there, Franci here with you today! This week is all about summer so I created a fun card with the Beach Babies set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Beach Babies Hello Sunshine Card by Franci Vignoli

It's a super simple card and it's not a one layer one just because I love to pop my images out with some foam tape! First, I created my card base out of some white cardstock. Then I drew and cut a wavy stencil out of some acetate and I inked my background with Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress inks.

I stamped all of the images with Memento black ink, colored them with copics and die cut them with their coordinating diesI added some details with a white gel pen and the Wink of Stella clear brush. I stamped my sentiments with the same black ink used before and I adhered down the beach babies with foam tape.

Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a happy day!

You're Fintastic Underwater Summer Themed Shaker Card with Juliana

Hello friends! It's Juliana Michaels here to share a fintastic underwater shaker card I created using the Magical Mermaids stamp set, Oceans of Joy stamp set and Fancy Frames Oval die set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Magical Mermaids Oceans Of Joy Underwater Shaker Card by Juliana Michaels

I began by die cutting the large scallop oval from white cardstock using the Fancy Frame Oval die set. I used the same die to cute a double sided foam adhesive sheet to use as the shaker box frame. Since I didn't have an oval die the correct size, I freehand drew an oval onto a scrap of paper using the Fancy Frame Oval as a template. I trimmed it down to size and then used this as a template to cut a piece of acetate to cover the window on the frame. I also used this same template to cut another oval from a piece of cardstock. I used this as the background and backer for the shaker. Once all of the cutting was complete, I applied Distress ink in Abandoned coral to the oval frame and Mermaid Lagoon to the background oval using a foam blending brush.

I knew I wanted to create an underwater scene so I stamped the mermaid, turtle and other images with Versafine ink onto Bristol. I then colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush and added details with Chameleon Pens. Once the parts for the scene were completed, I adhered them to the background piece.

To assemble the shaker, I adhered the acetate to the backside of the cardstock frame. I then adhered this to the die cut foam piece. Next, I took the background piece with the underwater scene and carefully poured some sequins and jewels in the center of this piece. I then adhered the frame piece on top of this to complete the shaker. You can also fill the frame with the sequins, but I always find it to be more difficult to line up the pieces when I do it that way. My solution has been to pour the sequins on top of the back piece.

I hope you enjoyed learning about how to create an underwater shaker card using the Magical Mermaids stamp set, Oceans of Joy stamp set and Fancy Frames Oval die set. Thanks so much for swimming by today!
