Bold Balloons Pink & Yellow Heart Balloons Birthday Card with Eloise

Hi friends, Eloise here and today I'll be using the Bold Balloons stamp set to create a birthday card that is super fast to make and also easy to replicate.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Bold Balloons Pink & Yellow Heart Balloons Birthday Card by Eloise Blue

To begin my card today I first stamped out the heart balloon from Bold Balloons using two colours of pink and a yellow onto a separate piece of paper. I used three shades of each colour and layered them up accordingly. I started off with the outside line layer first and worked backwards for this particular stamp as it was easier for me this way. Once they were all stamped, I die cut them out using the coordinating dies. I set them off to the side and moved on to the next step.

I cut down a piece of cream cardstock that has natural flecks in it just for a little interest. Then I used the large Celebrate word that comes in the set and stamped it on the bottom right hand side of the cardstock in black ink. I also used the additional 'Your Day' sentiment underneath it. I then laid over my balloons where I wanted them hovering over the sentiment and stamped the balloon strings accordingly, making sure they connected to the sentiment. I then popped up my balloons on foam tape and adhered them on top of the strings. Lastly, I cut down a piece of grey patterned paper that had stars on it and adhered to a card base. Then using more foam tape I adhered the entire panel onto the other side of my card base.

That finishes up my simple birthday card, I hope you enjoyed and were inspired to create a fast birthday card.

Before I go, I just wanted to remind you about a sale that is going through tonight at midnight PST.  You can get this set and more for 20% off using the promo code SPRINGBREAK at checkout.  ;)

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Karin Akesdotter

Hi everyone! It's Karin Akesdotter here from Peppermintpatty's Papercraft. I'm so excited to share a new card that I've created with Sunny Studio Stamp's spring 2018 release!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tiny Dancers Purrfect Birthday Birthday Cards by Karin Akesdotter

I made a panel by layering striped and polka dot paper. I also added a lacy edged die cut using the Stitched Scallop dies. I die cut the Wishes Word die from white cardstock and adhered a few layers of that to create dimension.

I then stamped, colored and die cut the adorable ballerinas and some sweet roses before adhering them to the card with foam adhesive and adhesive tape. Finally I made a card base and adhered the panel to it with foam adhesive.

For this card I matted a white card base with green polka dot patterned paper and then die cut a panel from Neenah solar white cardstock. I stamped my cats and then masked them so I could ink the background.

When I was done inking I spattered the background before I removed the masking. I used Copics for the coloring and then added some adhesive dots. I adhered the panel to the card using foam adhesive.

I made a panel from striped paper and adhered it to a scalloped black card base. I also added a lacy edge die cut with Stitched Scallop dies. I die cut the Wishes Word die from white cardstock and adhered a few layers of that to create dimension.

I then stamped, colored and fuzzy cut the adorable ballerina, two pairs of ballerina shoes and some sweet roses before adhering them to the card with foam adhesive and adhesive tape. Finally I made a card base and adhered the panel to it with foam adhesive.

Tiny Dancers Hexagon Stamped Background Card with Lexa

Hey guys! Lexa here today with a card that highlighting Tiny Dancers Stamps and the coordinating dies, I mix it with other stamps and dies collection too. Let's get started right away.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tiny Dancers Hexagon Stamped Background Card by Lexa Levana

I just can't get enough of this Tiny Dancers, they are the cutest! You must knew it by how often I use them on my cards. I stamped each of them with Versafine black ink and watercolor them with Distress Markers. After I finished with the coloring, I use the coordinating dies to die cut the images. Never forget to add more glitters on their tutus with some Stickles.

I got a better idea than using patterned paper as my background, I make one with Quilted Hexagons Stamps. First I stamped the dashed quide lines with espresso dye ink and fill in each hexagons with different patterns. You can match each hexagons with your own color palette... just how wonderful that is.

I framed each ballerinas with Fancy Frames Square Dies and create the backgrounds using Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Evergreen Bough and Spiced Marmalade. I use silver foiled paper to die cut the Sparkle Word Die and add some glitter to add more spark. The sentiment to complete my card is from Born To Sparkle Stamps. Last but not least, I add some flat clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh here and there. I'm so happy with the result, it's colorful and encouraging at the same time.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like today's inspiration as much as I do. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Team Player Sports Themed Birthday Card with Vanessa

Hi there! Vanessa here today with a sports themed card using Team PlayerHonestly, I am not good at making cards for men. But this fantastic stamp set makes it easy to create them!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Team Player Sports Themed Birthday Card by Vanessa Menhorn

For my card, I started with a panel of white greyish cardstock and stamped the images from the set with very light grey ink all over it. After I had adhered the piece to the card, I stamped the ball images from the set onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics and fussy-cut them. I adhered the images, using foam tape for more dimension.

Now I stamped and heat-embossed my sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock, combining the "happy birthday!" from Polar Playmates with the "have a ball!" from the Team Player set. I trimmed the strips and adhered them to the card. Finally, I added wood veneer stars.

I might start to enjoy making masculine cards :) Thank you for visiting today!

Rain Showers Framed Cattitude Card with Franci

Hi there and happy Wednesday! Franci here with you today with two little cards featuring the new Rain Showers mini stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Rain Showers Francy Frames Purrfect Birthday Card by Franci Vignoli

First, I stamped the Rain Showers stamp twice with Distress Oxide inks to create an ombrè effect, and also added some orange in one of the two. Then I stamped my little cats, from the Purrfect Birthday set, and their accessories with Memento black ink, colored them with Copics, and die cut them with their coordinating dies.

I die cut two of the new Fancy Frame Squares out of a piece of light grey cardstock and also some of the little hearts with the little die that's free with every order out of some white cardstock. Then I colored the little hearts in pink. I die cut a stitched rectangle twice out of some white cardstock and created two light grey colored coordinated card bases.
