Pink Peonies Cards with Angelica and Mindy

Hi friends! Angelica here, and I have a watercolored card to share today, featuring the Pink Peonies stamp set.

I stamped the flowers and petals with Antique Linen Distress Ink onto Arches Coldpress paper, and colored them with Daniel Smith watercolors. Once dry, I used the coordinating dies to die-cut them. 

I made a really quick watercolored background, and added the flowers and leaves with thin foam squares. I attached the panel to a card base, and added a die-cut Hello and White Pearls to finish the card.

Hello! It’s Mindy from My Creative Scoop and today, I'm sharing not only a new card, but a video tutorial as well. I’m using the new Pink Peonies Stamp set and I’ve die cut them with the coordinating Pink Peonies Dies. 

I’m also using the new Spring Fling Paper Pad. To soften up the boldness of the purple paper I put the Frilly Frames Striped die over it. This really softens up the card making the flowers bold and jump right off the card.

I’ve stamped my images in Memento Black Ink and stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card – which is my favorite paper to use when coloring with Copic Markers.

In my video tutorial below I’m using the following Copic markers: V17, V15, V12, Y26, Y21.
