Merry Mice Cards with Rachel and Candice

Hello everyone! It's Rachel here and I have a winter slimline card to share with you today that focuses on the Merry Mice Stamp Set. To start my card, I first stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then used Copic Markers to color everything and the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:
  • Light Teal: BG10, BG15
  • Dark Teal: BG11, BG13, BG49
  • Light Ears: RV0000, RV11
  • Dark Pink Ears: RV0000, R81, R85
  • Grays: W0, W2, W4, W5
  • Whites: 0, C00, C2, C4
  • Reds: R35, R37, R59

For my background, I trimmed a piece of smooth white card stock to 8.5" x 3.5" and then blended it with some Peacock Feathers. Evergreen Bough, and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered this piece with some water and then lightly blotted it dry with a paper towel. I then splattered it with both diluted white and green paints.

For some added interest, I stamped some trees from the Santa Claus Lane Set with Galactic Stream, Teal Cave, and Aqualicious Inks from Altenew. I used the Woodland Borders Die Set to add a stitched snow drift. Lastly, I adhered all of my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for added dimension.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Wishing you all a safe and wonderful weekend!

Welcome back this fantastic Friday! Candice with you today sharing a sweet Christmouse scene with you today using the adorable Merry Mice stamp set!

I began my card by creating an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base that fits perfectly into a standard or size 9A envelope. For the background, I first heat embossed the snow in white using the Frosty Flurries stamp set and lightly inked with squeezed lemonade and twisted citron.

I then die cut three snowhills from the Woodland Borders dies, two of them at an angle to get the dip in the center of my card. Next, I stamped all the adorable mice, trees, presents, and accessories from the Merry Mice stamp set, colored with Copic markers, and die cut out using the Merry Mice coordinating dies.

To finish the card, I heat embossed the sentiment in white and inked over with milled lavender and trimmed into a long banner. Thank you for visiting today!
