A Cut Above Card with Isha

Hello everyone, Isha here today with a fun mixed media card featuring yet another GORGEOUS layering stamp "A Cut Above". I love playing with colors so I used the pencil stamp and used them as pencil crayons.

Sunny Studio Stamps: A Cut Above Card by Isha Gupta (featuring Frilly Frame Dies)

To start, I took a watercolor paper and applied salty ocean distress ink as watercolor to it, let it dry. Then I die-cut the inside of the Frilly Frames Herringbone onto a white card and used it as a stencil. I applied Altenew embossing paste through the stencil onto the panel, let it dry. Flick black ink to this piece. Stamp the sentiment from the Color My World stamp set.

Next I stamped the pencil colors using various layers. It gives such a pretty result. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere the panel to a white card. Now adhere the pencils to the card using liquid glue and 3d foam. Hope you enjoyed the rainbow theme card.

Have a nice day!

Birthday Cat Card with Bobbi

Hello friends! It’s Bobbi here with a card showcasing the new Birthday Cat stamps. People I know that love cats, really LOVE cats! This set has so many cute cats to enjoy and use on a card. It’s perfect for sharing a little cat humor and love.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Birthday Cat Birthday Card by Bobbi Lemanski (featuring Crepe Paper Streamers Dies)

To create this card, I stamped three of the cute cats in a row on a 5″ X 7″ card front panel, cut from white cardstock. I colored the cats and added a few party elements around them including cupcakes and a party hat. I added colorful confetti dots and Crepe Paper Streamers, cut from orange and yellow to create the perfect festive mood.

I added 1″ strips of colorful pattern papers from the Spring Fever paper pack and solid cardstock, right below the cats.  I embossed two phrases from the Birthday Cat set on the orange strip to finish this A7 card. This is a great way to use up extra pieces of fun paper!

Slice of Summer Card with Cathy

Hey friends! Cathy here today sharing a fresh summer card featuring the Slice of Summer Stamps. Summer is my favorite season and I just love making tropical cards!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Slice Of Summer Card by Cathy Chapdelaine (featuring Radiant Plumeria, Tropical Trees Backdrop Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies)

This is an A2 size card and I’ve combined some beautiful tropical products on this one. I started by die-cutting a piece of white cardstock using the largest Stitched Rectangle Die and inked it with Kitsch Flamingo Distress ink. I then embossed it using the Moroccan Circles Embossing Folder. I matted it on black cardstock and adhered it to the card front.

Next, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using the largest Fancy Frames Oval Die. For the ocean background on this piece, I placed a post-it note across the oval 1 1/2" from the bottom and inked the bottom of the oval with Antique Linen Distress ink. I left the post-it note in place and die-cut a piece of eclipse masking tape using the sand portion of the Tropical Trees Backdrop Die. I placed this across the very bottom of the oval and inked the ocean with Peacock Feathers Distress ink. I inked lighter in some areas to allow a little of the Antique Linen ink to show through as a reflection of the sky on the water. I removed the masks and placed the post-it note over the ocean/sand. I then inked the sky with Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw and Tumbled Glass Distress inks. I heat embossed the HELLO sentiment from the Radiant Plumeria Stamps with black embossing powder 2” from the top of the oval and 1” from the left edge.

I die-cut the largest Fancy Frames Oval Die from black cardstock and adhered the frame to the ocean background on the card front. I die-cut the Tropical Trees Backdrop Die from black cardstock and adhered the largest palm tree and a seagull.

To finish, I stamped the limes from the Slice of Summer Stamps using Simon Says Stamp Celery, Limelicious and Pearfection inks and die-cut them using the coordinating dies. I stamped the plumeria from the Radiant Plumeria Stamps using various pink and yellow inks from my stash and die-cut it using the coordinating dies. Finally, I heat embossed the “Summer” sentiment from the Radiant Plumeria Stamps on black cardstock with white embossing powder and fussy cut around the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by! For more inspiration, please visit my blog www.inkredibleadventures.com and you can also find me on Instagram as @cathy.chapdelaine.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Scrumptious Cupcake Card with Leanne West

Hello everyone, Leanne West here with you! Can you believe it's almost summer? There are lots of summer birthdays in my family so I always like to restock my stash of birthday cards in June. I came up with a birthday card design using the fun images from Scrupmtious Cupcakes which I can duplicate easily. It's a mini slimline card which measures 6.25" long by 3.5" wide.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Scrumptious Cupcakes Birthday Card by Leanne West (featuring Icing Border Dies, Inside Greetings)

For this sample, I have chosen pink as the primary color with yellow, chocolate brown, and red as the accent colors. I plan on making many more but change the pink out for other colors like aqua blue, lavender, or mint green. I figure I can use the recipients favorite color. Each card will have a row of four cupcakes, some cherries, and the Happy Birthday greeting across the length of the card. I've used one of the Icing Border dies to frame in this row. Even though the die only cuts a 5.5" long border piece, I was able to glue two together seamlessly to cover the full length of my mini slimline card.

To kick this card design up a notch, I've highlighted the swirls of cupcake icing with some Stickles Glitter Glue. Stickles is always such easy way to give anything a touch of sparkle. I've added Glossy Accents over the cherries to make them really shiny and fresh looking. And lastly I decided to add an additional sentiment below the big Happy Birthday greeting. You would't have to do this but I felt it balanced the design out nicely. This sentiment comes from the Inside Greetings Birthday stamp set.

Ink colors used for stamping: Altenew Crisp Dye Ink - Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, Fresh Leaf, Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Heart Beat; brown ink color is Catherine Pooler Icing On the Cake

Candy Shoppe Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, it’s Tina with a sweet rocking card featuring one of my favorite stamps Candy Shoppe! Who doesn’t love all these sweet images and yummy treats! When you are like me and sometimes get intimidated by the creation of interactive cards, I have you covered! This moving card is super easy to make but totally fun and adorable.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Candy Shoppe Birthday Card by Tina Henkens

All you need is two circle dies, I used the largest and the third largest from this infinity setThe biggest circle will be your card base, I cut it from a heavyweight white card stock, you want this to be sturdy. The other circle was made out of a pretty blue paper from the Gingham Pastel paper pad. Simply fold bold circles in half and reinforce the scoreline with your bone folder. Next, I glued both circles together with liquid glue.

The Candy Shoppe stamp set has a lot of adorable images, but my favorite is the little ice cream cone with the cute smiley face! I stamped and, die cut 5 of them and colored them in rainbow colors with my Copic markers. A little bit of Stickles glitter glue was added for a touch of sparkle! Next, I glued an extra die cut to the back of the images so they would look nice and clean from that side too.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Candy Shoppe Birthday Card by Tina Henkens

For this design I knew I wanted to use the ‘sweet’ word that come with its own die in the Candy Shoppe die set. I really love that extra feature in the set! And I also wanted to add an extra sentiment strip. I stamped both with Versafine Onyx Black ink and adhered them to the blue panel leaving room at the top for the ice cones.

Finally, I added the yummy treats putting some liquid glue on the back of the cones only.

And that is how easy this ‘interactive’ card is! I hope you will give this design a try! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!
