Holiday Style Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Hanh here with you today and I am sharing a fun Christmas card featuring the adorable Holiday Hugs bear who is getting ready for the holidays by decorating her tree with the amazing bells from the beautiful Holiday Style set. I am so impressed with the realistic look of the bells from this layered stamping set. So let’s get started.

I stamped the bells and bows images from the Holiday Style Stamps set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock and used the coordinating Holiday Style Dies to die cut them out. I also stamped the pine branch several times onto another piece of Neenah cardstock to create a Christmas tree. 

INK COLORS:
Bells: Hero Arts Granite, Hero Arts Charcoal, Hero Arts Pitch Black
Bows: Hero Arts Pale Tomato, Gina K Red Hot, Hero Arts Red Royal
Pine Branches: Hero Arts Fresh Lawn

Next, I stamped the bear from the Holiday Hugs Stamps set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Holiday Hugs Dies to die cut it out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Bear: E51/53/33/99, E25/27/29, R00/20
Scarf: R14/24/29, C0/1, RV10/21

For the layout, I lightly inked the corner of the Christmas tree stamped panel with some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to diecut it out. I stamped the “Believe in the Magic of Christmas” from the Holiday Style Stamps set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. 

Next, I adhered the panel onto another white panel die cut using the Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies for a bit of interest on the edges. The bells, bows and bear were adhered to the panel with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape for some dimension.  Finally, I adhered the panel to a piece of red cardstock before adhering it to a white A2 card base (4.5” x 5.5”).
