Daffodil Dreams Birthday Card with Vanessa

Hi there! Vanessa here with a card to bring you into mood for spring! The snow melted and I already spotted some green buds peeking out in my patches. But until the daffodils are in full bloom it'll take some time, so for now I made a card with Daffodil Dreams.

I first inked the card base with light green ink and added ink droplets. Then I trimmed a panel of cardstock slightly smaller than the card, die-cut a circle from it and adhered it to the card. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto the bottom right corner using silver embossing powder.

Now I stamped the flowers and leaves, die-cut them with the coordinating Daffodil Dreams dies and added some details to the flower with an orange pen. I adhered the die-cuts onto the card, using foam tape for some dimension, and finished the card off with clear sequins.

I love the new layered stamps! How about you? Thank you for visiting today!

Easter Wishes Easter Animals Card with Lindsey

Hi, Lindsey here today sharing an Easter card using the new and adorable Easter Wishes stamp set and dies. I love the sweet little animals in this set, so of course I had to feature them on my card. Let's get started on how this card came together.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Easter Wishes Easter Themed Animal Card by Lindsey Sams

I began with an A2 sized card base cut from a light yellow card stock. I then cut a smaller stitched rectangle to build my scene on. I stamped my sentiment in the center of the stitched rectangle, and then I used a circle stencil and some lavender ink to create the dotted background. I used a strip of green paper cut with a grass border to ground my scene.

After I had the background prepared, I stamped and colored my images using Copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating Easter Wishes dies. Then, I just had to build my scene. I attached the stamped images with adhesive and foam tape. To help tie in the lavender, I backed my stitched rectangle with some lavender card stock.

I love how this card turned out and the soft colors are perfect for spring. I hope you enjoyed the results and will give this adorable set a try. I can't wait to see what you guys create. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Friends & Family Poem Card with Emily

Hi, Emily here. Today, I'm featuring the Friends & Family stamp set and coordinating Friends & Family Word Dies

Sunny Studio Stamps: Friends & Family Floral Friend Themed Card by Emily Leiphart

I wanted to create a longer verse or poem with the sentiments so I stacked two sentiments which would normally be used separately. The first scripted "friends" word was stamped in a slightly darker grey ink than the second and the leaves were stamped in an even lighter shade of grey.

The sponging of the background panel matches the teals used in the flowers in the split laurel. Thanks so much for stopping by!

That Sucks Vacuum Shaker Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and I'm back with a card featuring the new That Sucks stamp set. I decided to do a simple design and add a shaker window inside.

Sunny Studio Stamps: That Sucks Shaker Card by Eloise Blue

To begin my card I stamped and coloured two vacuum cleaners with some Copic Markers and die cut them out using the coordinating That Sucks Dies. I now needed to work on the background. I used two shades of pink and one reddish pink Distress Ink and ink blended the background on some watercolour paper, then flicked a paintbrush that was wet so I could get the water droplet effect. I then heat set it and used some circle dies to cut an opening. Once the panel was ready to go I worked on my shaker portion.

I adhered the left over circle to a piece of scrap paper and then took two pieces of foam tape together and cut it in half to make skinner strips. I went around the outside of the circle until there were no gaps. I used that spare piece of paper that I adhered the circle too so I could adhere my foam tape to it. I then filled the circle with some sequins by Pretty Pink Posh. I then took my panel again and added a piece of acetate behind my window and then adhered that down to my shaker piece, lining up the background so the colours line up.

To finish up my card I adhered on the vacuum cleaners with foam tape and stamped the sentiment from the same That Sucks stamp set with black ink directly on the background and then adhered my entire panel to a card base.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and come back the rest of the week for more inspiration!
