Truckloads of Love Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here again with an autumn theme card featuring the new Truckloads of Love stamp and coordinating dies. I love the colors and crispness of the autumn season and this is what I interpreted in my card.

I started by stamping the leaves from the Crisp Autumn stamp set by using only two layers. I stamped using various inks for the gradient look. Die-cut using the coordinating dies. Next stamp the sentiment using versamark ink, sprinkle WOW! gold embossing powder, heat set and die-cut. Die-cut using pink and teal cardstock too and layer it slightly off-set.

Stamp the images from the Truckloads of Love stamp set, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Adhere the leaves to a white layer using liquid glue and 3d tape. flick gold paint splatters. Mask and sponge the grass area. Adhere the images. Adhere the panel to a kraft cardbase.

Dotted Diamond Background Die Focused Card with Bobbi

Hello friends. It’s Bobbi here with a fall-inspired thank you card. I’m using some new fall products from the Sunny Studio Stamp's latest release including our Dotted Diamond Portrait Die and Elegant Leaves stamps and dies.

To create this A2 card, I cut the front panel using the Dotted Diamond Portrait Die. I used the portrait version of this diamond design instead of the landscape version available here. At each dotted intersection, I added a dollop of Bronze Pearl Pen. I set the panel aside to dry.

I stamped, colored and cut the leaves using the Elegant Leaves stamps and dies.  I used Copic Markers in various yellow-rad  and earth brown colors. I hand cut the “thankful” scripted word since there is no die for this image. I attached the sentiment to the dotted diamond background using foam tabs to make it stand out. I attached the leaves using glue, tucking them behind the word to complete the design. I attached the front panel to the card base to complete the thank you card.

Brilliant Banner Die Focused Card with Rachel

Hello crafty friends! It's Rachel here from RachelAlvaradoDesigns. I have a Christmas-themed card to share with you today featuring some of the newly released products from the Sunny Studio Stamps amazing new release. 

My card showcases the adorable bear from the Holiday Hugs Stamp Set as well as the beautiful Brilliant Banner 1 Die. To start my card, I first stamped my images (my bear and his gift) onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating Holiday Hugs Die Set to cut them out. Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock to 4" x 5.25" and die cut an oval from the center of it using the Stitched Oval 2 Dies. I then layered this piece onto a 4"x 5.25" sheet of blue patterned paper from the Joyful Holiday Paper Pad with some 3D foam adhesive. I then layered these pieces onto a 4.25" x 5.5" red-striped piece of patterned paper (using regular double-sided tape) from the same patterned paper pad as the blue patterned piece.

Next, I added my bear and his gift to my card base with some 3D foam adhesive to give them some added dimension. I then die cut a scalloped oval from white card stock 2x's using the Fancy Frame Oval Dies and adhered them around the oval that I had previously die cut from my card base. In order to give some more interest to my background, I also cut a few white snowflakes using the small snowflake from the Basic Mini Shape Dies 2 Set as well as the snowflake that is currently the FREE mini die with every order while supplies last and glued them to my blue background. Lastly, I die cut my wavy banner using the Brilliant Banner 1 Die from red card stock and heat embossed my sentiment from the Feeling Frosty Stamp Set with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Cards with Tina Smith

Cool down this summer with some wintery holiday hugs! Hello Crafty Friends, my name is Tina Smith and I am super excited to be joining Sunny Studio this month as a Guest Designer on their Blog celebrating their amazing Fall/Holiday Release. 

Today I get the pleasure of creating with the Woolen Mitten Die set and the Holiday Hugs Stamps. I created a tag with a treat, a heartwarming A2 card, and a snowflake-filled mitten-shaped card.   

For my first project, I created an A2 card with the adorable Holiday Hugs Stamp set along with the Coordinating Holiday Hugs Die Set. I love that you can die-cut the arms of the bear and tuck lots of cute images in them. I colored my bear & present with Copic markers and used the Sunny Studio Stitched Arch Die set to place him on. I ink-blended the arch and my card base with inks and added a fun border frame using the Sunny Studios Icing Borders Die Set.   

For my second project, I created a shaped card with the Woolen Mittens Die Set. I embossed a mitten panel for the front with the Quilted Hearts Embossing Folder and ink blended the edges & cuff filling in the mitten with stitched details and snowflakes. I created a tag with the Stitched Arch Die set and stamped my greeting from the Holiday Hugs Stamp set. I embellished the top right of the mitten with die-cut holly and buttons adding color by inking the edges, I threaded the buttons and created a bow with twine and ribbon. 

For my final project, I created a fun tag with a treat. I used the Holiday Hugs Stamp, coloring the cute bear with Copic markers. I created a tag with the Stitched Arch Die set, embossing it with the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder and inking the edges. I placed a swirl border at the bottom of the tag using the Icing Borders Die set. I adorned my tag with a button and holly from the Woolen Mitten Die Set and some white ribbon. A small candy will fit perfectly in the arm of the bear, I suggest a miniature chocolate to make your tags extra sweet this Holiday Season!

Turkey Day Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, it’s Tina with a sweet fall card for you today! This project is all about fun colors going for an autumnal look. The star of the show are the adorable cuties from the Turkey Day stamp and die set. Sunny Studio Stamps has lots of amazing fall sets, I combined the sweet turkeys with extra pumpkins, corn and cornstalks from Harvest Mice and Fall Friends.

After stamping and die cutting all the images I colored them with my Copic markers. I always stamp extras in case I want to change anything. The best part of card making is to follow your creative ideas and have fun with unexpected color combo’s. In this case I went with purple for the tail feathers and some of the pumpkins. I selected a scalloped square die from my stash and cut a panel from white Neenah paper.

Next, I masked of the top part with posted tape so I could ink the ‘ground’ portion with a combination of Antique Linen and Scattered Straw Distress Oxides. I added some water splatters and used a brown Copic for extra details. As always, I put highlights where needed with a white gel pen.

The big bold sentiment from Autumn Greetings was stamped directly to the card panel with my go to black Versafine ink. After adhering this panel to a purple square card base, I was ready to create my little scene.

I used foam tape for the cute turkeys and some of the pumpkins and corn. Lastly, I added the cornstalks in the back and glued them to the panel with liquid glue. I had to cut some of them shorter, but I found it easier to see where to place them when all the other images were already adhered. A few Bright Jewels in a purple tone were scattered around the sentiment to give the card that extra bling.
