Clucky Chickens Cards with Tina and Vanessa

Hello crafty friends, Tina here and yes, I made my first Easter card of 2023! When I saw the super adorable Clucky Chickens stamp and die set, I knew it would be perfect for the occasion.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Clucky Chickens Easter Card by Tina (featuring Little Birdie, Chickie Baby, Picket Fence Border Dies)

I started by stamping and die cutting almost every image from this set using a sheet of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I also selected a few Easter eggs from Chickie Baby. The nest comes from the Little Birdie set. Next, I die cut the Picket Fence Border from the same white paper. All the images were colored with Copic markers.

For my card panel, I used a rectangle die and a piece of Neenah Solar White paper. Next, I cut a diamond shape from the middle of this panel. I inked the outer portion of the rectangle with Distress Oxides Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo using a grid stencil from my stash. The diamond shape was colored with the same Oxides. I stamped an Easter greeting (Clucky Chickens and Fall Friends) onto a small banner with my trusty Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Now let’s assemble the card, starting by adhering the outer portion of the rectangle to a card base. Next, I build my scene onto the diamond shape, working my way through the different layers of the design.

Before I start a new card, I always place my stamps onto the panel to decide where each image will go. And then I take a picture of this design. This also helps me to choose the colors for each element of my scene.

I added the diamond shape to the base with foam tape for dimension. And lastly, the sentiment banner was mounted to the card. To embellish the card I sprinkled a few Chrystal Clear Jewels around the sentiment.

As always, I plan to send lots of Easter cards, so I am happy I got started working on my stash! I hope you will make some sweet cards with this adorable set too! Thank you for visiting the blog and happy crafting!

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a birthday card using the adorable Clucky Chickens set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Clucky Chickens Birthday Card by Vanessa Menhorn (featuring Panda Party, Garden Critters, Big Bold Greetings)

I trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than my card base and adhered it. Now I stamped the images onto a piece of cardstock, paper-pieced the hen house with patterned paper, colored everything with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered them with foam tape.

I mixed these sets:
Clucky Chickens stamps + dies
Panda Party stamps + dies
Garden Critters stamps dies
Big Bold Greetings stamps + dies
Spring Fever Paper Pad

Then I stamped the sentiment, die-cut it and adhered it. Finally, I added highlights with a white gel pen.

Such a fun party to join, don't you agree? Enjoy your weekend!

Rainy Days Die Focused Cards with Waleska and Marine

Hello Friends. Waleska here, and I am so happy to be back with a new card inspiration for you. I used the super cute Rainy Day Dies and the beautiful Big Bold Greetings stamps.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Rainy Days Die Focused Card by Waleska Galindo (featuring Big Bold Greetings)

To create this card I started choosing a pattern paper from the Spring Fever patterned paper as color inspiration. I had the idea of creating a rainy day with lots of grey clouds, to do that I used a cloud stencil and Pumice Stone Oxide ink. I then cut all the pieces to create four umbrellas from white cardstock, I added some color to them with the following inks: Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed, Wilted Violet and Lucky Clover Oxide inks. For the umbrella bases I used grey cardstock. I wanted to add some sparkle to this cute umbrellas so I used Moonstone Glimmer paste to the bottom of all the umbrellas, for the umbrella handles I used copic markers trying to match the same colors I used before.

I finally adhered the umbrellas with 3D foam tape and cut a bunch of water drops from a blue cardstock and I add them around my rainy day scene. For the sentiment I used the handwritten phrase "Miss You" from the Big Bold Greetings stamps. I love how this card, specially to give it to someone you miss in your life. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi crafty friends! Marine here, back with a happy and cheerful slimline infinity shaker card showcasing the adorable Rainy Days from the new Spring 2023 collection.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Rainy Days Die Focused Card by Marine Simon (featuring Tropical Trees Backdrop, Nutty For You)

I started off by cutting an 8,5" x 4,5" bristol panel, and I used a cloud stencil along with tumbled glass and salty ocean oxide inks to create a very simple background.

Next I created the infinity shaker pocket. I cut a plastic sleeve (like the ones we put in binders for school) to get a single sheet of plastic. I added double sided tape on the four edges of that plastic sheet, I placed my cloudy panel in the middle of it, and while keeping the panel in place with my left hand, I cut the four plastic corners off, and this way created four plastic tabs on each side of the cloudy panel. I folded and attached three of those tabs at the back of the cloudy panel, poured a million iridescent confetti inside the plastic pocket, and then folded and attached the remaining tab to totally close the pocket.

Next I cut the different elements using Rainy Days. I cut the base of the umbrellas out of white cardstock. For the handle I used a light grey cardstock. And for the top and main part, I cut two types of papers: plain colored cardstock, and Spring Fever pattern papers. I assembled the colorful top pieces, as well as the handles on the plain white umbrellas, and once my five umbrellas were complete, I attached them on the shaker panel using 1mm foam squares. And to bring even more sparkles to this card, I cut and attached some gold glitter clouds using dies from the Tropical Trees Backdrop die set.

And then I asked myself "What could I add to bring more cuteness to those umbrellas?" And I thought that smiley faces would be fun. So I searched my entire collection of Sunny Studio die sets, and came across the Nutty For You die set that includes small dies to create cute faces. So I cut those five smiles and five pairs of eyes out of black cardstock, and glued them all on the umbrellas.

For my greeting, I started by cutting a red banner using a die from the Stitched Rectangle die set. I white heat embossed the phrase "Showering you with love" from Spring Showers, and I attached that banner using foam squares again. And last but not least, I added white highlights to the umbrella's eyes to kind of give them more personality. And that's it, the cutest umbrellas to brighten someone's day! Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time!

Garden Critters Cards with Catherine and Marie

Hello Crafty Friends! Catherine here, it’s February 1st and Valentine’s Day is just two weeks away!  I created a Valentine’s Day card with some of the cute bees from Garden Critters Stamps which coordinated nicely with Just Bee-Cause Stamps.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Garden Critters Card by Catherine Cohen (featuring Bursting Heart Dies, Haley Alphabet Dies, Just Bee-cause)

To start, I ink blended a piece of A2 white cardstock with Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, and Festive Berries Distress Oxide.  Next I die cut the beautiful Bursting Heart Die out of white cardstock and adhered it onto the background. I ink blended some of the white hearts from the Bursting Heart Die with Festive Berries Distress Oxide and adhered the hearts onto the background.

I stamped and die cut the bees from Garden Critters Stamps and the bees and bee hive from Just Bee-Cause Stamps and die cut the images with coordinating dies. I added some “heart” branches from Love Monkey Stamps and I colored all the images with Copic Markers listed in my blog link below.

For the sentiment, I ink blended Festive Berries and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide onto white cardstock and I trimmed the banner with my paper cutter. I white heat embossed the sentiment from Just Bee-Cause Stamps. I finished off the card with the word “Bee” using the new Hayley Uppercase Alphabet Dies and Hayley Lowercase Alphabet Dies ink blended with Festive Berries Distress Oxide.

Thanks so much for joining me today! For more Valentine’s inspiration, please feel free to visit me at Crafti-Cat.

Hello Crafty Friends, Marie here! I am happy to be back on the blog sharing a new card! For many people across different cultures, ladybugs, grasshoppers, dragonflies, and even bees are a symbol of good luck, good fortune, and prosperity so I decided to create a Good Luck card featuring the Garden Critters Stamp. This card is perfect for anyone who needs some warm encouragement!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Garden Critters Card by Marie Marco (featuring Frilly Frame Dies, Haley Alphabet Dies, Autumn Greenery)

To create this card, I first start by die cutting an A2 sized panel from Neenah Solar white 110 lb cardstock paper. I then used the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Die to cut a super cute scalloped panel from the new Spring Fever Paper. I then attached the pattern paper to the white panel using some double sided tape adhesive.

To create the leafy wreath I used a single leaf die from the Autumn Greenery Dies. I ink blended all my leaves using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. For my "good Luck" sentiment, I used the new Hayley Lowercase Alphabet Dies

Next, I stamped all the garden critters onto watercolor paper using Distress Ink in the color Antique Linen. I then watercolor all my images using Faber- Castell watercolor Pencils. Finally, I used the corresponding Garden Critters Dies to  cut out all the images.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Garden Critters Card by Marie Marco (featuring Frilly Frame Dies, Haley Alphabet Dies, Autumn Greenery)

To complete my card, I die cut an oval from Translucent Vellum paper and adhered it to the center of my pattern paper. I layered all the leaves around the vellum  to create a wreath. I adhered the leaves using double sided tape adhesive and foam tape to add some dimension. Next, I added the garden critters using some Bearly Art Precision Craft glue and foam tape. Lastly, I adhered the sentiment and added some spare die cut hearts as a finishing touch.

And that does it for this week's project inspiration! Thank you for joining me today! Until next week, Happy Crafty Cardmaking!!

Spring Fever Focused Cards with Lien and Isha

Hi crafty friends! It's Lien here back with a colorful clean and simple card. With lots of friends living abroad, I use a ton of "miss you" and "thinking of you" cards. And any sort of card you need a lot from, you probably want a quick way to make them. Even better, this card design works for any occasion, just swap out the sentiment and you're good to go!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Passionate Penguins Card by Lien Leysen

I simply stamped the fun image from the Passionate Penguins stamp set in alcohol marker friendly ink and colored it in with my Ohuhu Markers. I do use a trick when stamping for marker colorings where I leave the stamp sitting in my Misti and after I'm done coloring I stamp it once again in Versafine Onyx Black ink. This is a pigment ink and stays wet for a while so I can add clear embossing powder to it.

I love a glossy black embossed outline but if you go over that line too often with alcohol markers, you will rub it away and it might even ruin the nib of your markers. This simple trick takes 2 minutes extra and I love the finished look. I die cut the image with the coordinating dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Passionate Penguins Card by Lien Leysen

To put this card together, I just used a piece of patterned paper from the gorgeous Spring Fever paper pack and adhered that to the top of my card. I added a sentiment white embossed on black from the Breakfast Puns stamp set and put it behind the image which I propped up on some foam tape. Simple, quick, easy to mass produce, and you can make this work for any occasion!

----------------------------------------

Hello everyone! Isha here today with a fun and cheerful card. I played with patterns from the new Spring Fever paper collection. I decided to incorporate some of the new and old stamps and dies as they all blend well together.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Looking Sharp Card by Isha Gupta (featuring Big Bold Greetings, Mini Mat & Tag Dies, Build-A-Birdhouse Dies)

To start, I cut the floral pattern, matted it with a pink cardstock and adhered to a white card base. Then cut the dotted yellow paper stripe and adhere. Next, I die-cut the tag using the cloud background paper from the Mini Mat and Tag 2 dies. Die-cut the grass from the grass pattern paper using the Picket Fence dies. Die-cut the birds from the Build-A-Birdhouse dies, color using copic markers.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Looking Sharp Card by Isha Gupta (featuring Big Bold Greetings, Mini Mat & Tag Dies, Build-A-Birdhouse Dies)

Stamp the cactus from the Looking Sharp stamp set, color and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Stamp the word "THANKS" from the Big Bold Greetings stamp and die-cut using the coordinating diesAssemble everything together. To finish add the twine and some enamel dots.

Thank you for dropping by and have a nice day!
