Two Scoops Ice Cream Card Set with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here with two cards featuring Two Scoops Stamp and the coordinating dies. I pair it with some other stamp sets and see how they work well together for my cards. Warning! This super sweet stamp set is so addictive and may make you crave some ice cream instantly - so beware ladies. ;)

The reason why I made two cards instead of one just like I usually do is simply because I can't stop stamping them in different colors. I find it easier to use a stamping tool for layering stamps just like this one. For the first card, I choose a classic combo of ice cream scoops with vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and a cherry on top. I dry embossed the white background to give it some textures while keep the background simple so the three scoops of ice cream will be the star.

I die cut the Sweet Word Die from hot pink cardstock and heat embossed the "birthday wishes" from Sweet Shopee Stamp on brown cardstock. I added two strips of polka dotted patterned paper (looks like rainbow sprinkles on chocolate sauce to me), one on each side.

And for my second card, I also dry embossed the white background but this time the pattern is polka dots. This card is a little bit more colorful than the first one. I blended Squeezed Lemon and Wild Honey Distress Inks on the bottom part to create an ombre look. Three portions of soft ice creams are never too much! I'm really enjoying this because I feel less guilty just by staring at them! ;)

To match the curve I use a banner from Sunny Borders Stamp and fill it with the sentiment from Color Me Happy Stamp. This card will make anyone's day brighter! Last but not least, I add some sparkling clear sequins in various sizes around the ice creams. Can you guess what's the flavor is for each color? They are my favorite, while stamping this I have particular flavors in mind... they are strawberry, matcha (japanese green tea), sea salt (yep, it's trending now in my country) Yum!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you guys like them as much as I do. Have a great day everyone!

Magical Mermaids Underwater Mermaid Scene Card with Vanessa

Hi everyone! Vanessa here with a little underwater scene using Magical Mermaids. This set is adorable, I am happy it has this many various elements to play with. Here is what I came up with for today.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Magical Mermaids Underwater Mermaid Scene Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I started with a panel of watercolor paper that I had trimmed slightly smaller than my card base. Now I created a mask from a scrap of paper, using the Stitched Scalloped dies, and adhered it to the panel. I applied various blue/turquoise Distress Inks with an ink blending tool and added tiny droplets of water from a brush. Then I applied pearlescent watercolor medium to my inked part. You can see the effect in the close-up.

After I had adhered the dried panel to the card, I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics and die-cut them with the matching dies. I adhered everything to the card (using foam tape for some parts) and added sequins. Finally, I applied more of the pearlescent medium to the mermaid's tail.

I hope to see you next Thursday! Thanks for stopping by!

Pirate Pals Masculine Themed Pirate Card with Amy

Ahoy mateys! Amy here to share a masculine card using the new Pirate Pals stamp set and its coordinating dies

Sunny Studio Stamps: Pirate Pals Masculine Themed Pirate Card by Amy Yang

To create the background, I used a star die to die-cut white cardstock, and used the negative as the backdrop of the card. I also used the Stitched Scallop dies to add waves to the background as well. I distressed all the cut pieces with Distress Inks, and added white splatters and lines to the card. I thought it'd be fun to have a moon in the scene, so I used a circle die from Sun Ray Dies to die cut white cardstock. After, I adhered all the background pieces to a folded note card and framed it with an A2 size white cardstock that has been die-cut with an oval die.

To create the beachfront, I die-cut white cardstock using the wavy die from the Oceans Of Joy dies set. I distressed it with Distress Inks, and added splatters of ink and water for a textured look. I stamped the sentiment "You Are A Treasure" from Pirate Pals with Versamark, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I stamped images on this card from Pirate Pals, colored them in with Copic markers, and cut them out with coordinating dies. To finish, I adhered all the images to the card front.

I got my son's approval for this card, hopefully you like it too. Thank you for stopping by the blog today!

Oceans Of Joy Clean and Simple Get Well Card with Karin

Hi everyone, it’s Karin here. Today I am here to share a new, very sweet get well card card that I've created with the new Oceans Of Joy set!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Oceans Of Joy Clean and Simple Get Well Card by Karin Ã…kesdotter

For this card, I made a card base and two panels to create a window. One panel is made from cardstock and one is made from vellum. In the panel cut from vellum, the circle cut is smaller to create dimension and create a decorative edge/frame to the window. Before I adhered the window panel I embossed a piece of cardstock with a wavy pattern and added it to the card base as a background for the window.

I stamped and colored my whale from the Oceans Of Joy stamp set, and then die cut the whale using the coordinating dies. I adhered the cute whale to the center of the window with foam adhesive.
