Hello crafters, Tina here and I just can’t get over how cute these sweeties from the Turkey Day stamp and die set are! Their size is also the perfect match for the frames cut by the Wonky Window die.
After creating a side folding white card base, I cut a panel from white card stock with the outer die of the Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace set. Next, I came in with the Wonky Window die and set the three little window pieces aside for later.
For a real cozy fall look, I added
a plaid design to the background piece by using the Diagonal Stripes stencil in two directions (the blue ink was from my stash). I
love how quick and easy this pattern was achieved and I think it is perfect for
that autumnal vibe!
Next, I pulled out the Turkey Day stamp set and selected three cuties, some pumpkins and an
extra pie. I enjoyed coloring these images in bright tones of purple, brown,
orange and a bit of blue. This color palette stands out nicely against the blue
plaid. I used a white gel pen for accents and a black gel pen for the eyes of
the birds.
To assemble the card I adhered the background piece to the card base and added the three white panels. Then I played around with the placement of the images and popped them up with foam tape.
The sentiment was taken from the same Turkey Day stamp set and I used a matching purple ink from my stash. I always add a little bling to my cards and today I went with the Orange Topaz Jewels which are perfect for fall cards.
Do you love making autumn cards as much as I do? I hope you got inspired and have fun creating! Thank you for joining me and happy crafting!
