To start off I stamped my images onto some white cardstock using black ink. I then coloured them in with Copic Markers and cut them out.
(Copic Markers Used: RV10, RV13, RV25, RV19 / R22, R24,
R27, R29 / YG01, YG03, YG07, YG09 / YG61, YG63, YG67, G28 / YG03, YG23, YG13,
YG17 / YR00, YR02, YR12, YR18 / BG10, BG11, BG23, BG49 / Y00, Y11, Y17, Y19)
Next, I took a piece of watercolour cardstock and some
Winsor and Newton watercolours and painted blue strips horizontally across the
piece. I flicked on some clean water and dried it off with a heat tool.
I then added adhesive to the backs of all my images and
adhered the leaves at the bottom into place. I then layered over the flowers
and adhered my flamingos over the top. For my sentiment I white heat embossed
the ‘You’re So Flamazing’ onto a think black strip. I tied a hemp cord bow
around one side and adhered it into place.
That finished up my card for today. Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’ll see you next week.

Hi there! Leanne
here to share a brightly colored tropical inspired card showcasing the fun
images from Fabulous Flamingos. My card is A2
size and features a custom two tone water colored background. To create
this background I used two Distress Oxide colors - Wild Honey and Picked
Raspberry.
I used a messy water
color technique to cover the entire card front. Wild Honey on the top two
thirds and Picked Raspberry on the bottom. I tried to make it splotchy to
add interest. Next I layered the Frilly Frames
Stripes over top. I Copic colored a flamingo along with
several leaves and flowers from the Fabulous Flamingos stamp set.
I adhered the
images in a clustered arrangement towards the right side of the card using low
profile dimensional foam squares. For the greeting, I wanted to combine a
stamped and die cut sentiment that could be incorporated into this focal point
cluster.
I stamped and heat
embossed in white the “you’re so” on black card stock. I trimmed it into a
skinny strip with a fish tail end and then tucked under the flamingo. Next I used the Sweet
Word die. I created a layered look by cutting the “sweet”
twice - one from white glitter card stock and one from black then adhering
slightly offset. To finish off this card I added a few clear sequins plus some
extra tiny flowers around the main focal point cluster.
