Spring Garden Die Focused Card with Isha

Hello everyone, Isha here with a clean and simple card featuring the Spring Garden dies. These dies are so detailed and  beautiful that I wanted them to be the focal point of the card. 

I started by die-cutting a white panel using the Window Quad Square die. Add blue color to the vellum using alcohol ink, adhere this behind the windows.

Die-cut various elements from the Spring Garden dies. Die-cut the florals multiple times. Add color to the cuts using various inks. Assemble the images and adhere to the card.

To finish, stamp the sentiment from the Lovely Lilacs stamp, cut into a stripe. Adhere to the card. Thank you for dropping by and have a nice day!

Big Bunny Card with Leanne

Hi there! Leanne here to share a card showcasing the adorable Big Bunny and I think she's ready for spring! This bunny image is such a fun size at a little over 3.5" tall. She nicely fills my A2 size card.

There's many accessories included in the Big Bunny set however I felt like my bunny needed a carrot. I found the perfect one for her in the Bunnyville stamp set. I've Copic colored the bunny, bow, and carrot with the following: E40, E41, E42, R00, R20, R30, R32, R35, YR12, YR14, YR18, YG11, YG18

To assemble the card, I used an A2 panel of simple patterned paper for the background. I then added a die cut Fancy Frame Rectangle with foam adhesive strips. Next I added the bunny by tucking the bottom under the frame edge. The coordinating Big Bunny die cuts around the arms so I was able to tuck in the carrot easily. I added the sentiment next. The Spring Greetings sentiment stamps are included in the Big Bunny set.  

To embellish the card I added some die cut daisies and tiny flower sequins. I made the daisy flowers with the Basic Mini Shape 4 dies. The little leaves are from the Basic Mini Shape 2 die set.

Wicker Basket Card with Rachel

Hello friends! It's Rachel here with a card that showcases the adorable Wicker Basket Die Set. This cute little basket can be used all year round with different types of cards, but I thought it would go perfectly with the adorable Big Bunny Stamp Set to create a fun Easter card.

I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored them with Copic Markers. I also added some cute little butterflies and carrots from the Bunnyville Stamp Set. To die cut my images, I used both the coordinating Big Bunny dies and Bunnyville dies.

I kept my background simple by trimming a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of purple patterned paper from the Spring Fling Paper Pack. I then die cut a scalloped white frame using the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies and adhered it to my card base with liquid adhesive.

Next, I stamped my "Easter" sentiment and added my images with double sided adhesive tape. Lastly, I added the "greetings" portion of my sentiment that I had stamped onto a sheet of white card stock with black ink and then die cut using the coordinating die.

Spring Garden Card with Cathy

Hey friends! Cathy here today and I’m excited to share a card featuring the Spring Garden Dies paired with elements of the Wonderful Windows Dies to create a gardening bench!

This is an A2 card and I started with the background panel on the card front. I cut a piece of white cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", inked it with Lilac and Orchid Simon Says Stamp inks and die-cut it with the Dotted Diamond Portrait Die. I then die-cut the piece again with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die and adhered it to a white card front.

For the lattice, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using the notebook paper die from the Notebook Photo Corners Dies and then die-cut the center of it using the smallest Stitched Rectangle Die. This created a frame for the lattice. (You could also just cut a piece of white cardstock 3” x 4 1/8” in place of the notebook paper die, but I liked the slightly rounded corners that this die produces.) Next, I cut a piece of white cardstock 3” x 4 1/8” and die-cut it using the Frilly Frames Lattice Die. I then adhered the frame over the lattice and adhered the combined piece to the card front 1/4" from the top of the lilac background panel. I was able to line the lattice up with the lines of the Dotted Diamond Portrait Die background, but you could also back the lattice with an inked piece of cardstock before adhering it to the card front.

For the drawer portion of the bench, I die-cut a shutter twice from white cardstock using a Wonderful Windows Dies, layered them together and adhered them slightly overlapping the bottom of the lattice using foam dimensional tape. I die-cut drawer pulls from silver cardstock using dies also found in the Wonderful Windows Dies. I used a combination of inking and Copic coloring on the Spring Garden Dies. I just love the details of these dies and the cute little gardening tools!

To finish, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using the Brilliant Banner 1 Die, embossed a sentiment from the Watering Can Stamps with white embossing powder and inked it with Memento Lulu Lavender ink.

Mini Grass Border Die Focused Card with Nicky

Hello this is Nicky with you today on the Sunny Studio blog and I have a new Easter card for you that features the Mini Grass Border Die.

This is a 5 1/2 inch square card and I started by creating a pink panel in that size and glueing it to my card base. I then created a smaller white panel which I masked and ink blended in pink to create the sky and I stamped the bold sentiment from Chickie Baby. I removed the mask, die cut the Fancy Frames Square Dies, backed it with foam tape and applied. This whole decorative panel was backed with white craft foam and applied to the main panel.

Using the Mini Grass Border Die I created two little 'hills' and I ink blended these in green and I glued the larger one directly within the frame and with the smaller second one I added ScorPal tape around the left, bottom and right hand side and applied within the frame.

I used Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa to stamp the Chickie Baby images and I coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:

Chickies - YR00, E51, E50, YR07
Blushes - R22, R20, R00
Basket - E44, E31, E41
Mint - BG11, G000, G0000
Pink - V01, RV00, RV000
White - C1, C00
Shading - W2, W0

Images were die cut using the Chickie Baby Dies and applied to the scene with foam tape and I tucked the wicker basket slightly behind the slower grass slope which is why I left it unglued at the top edge. I completed the card with the simple addition of some white highlights and daisy dots in the grass using a white gel pen.
