Merry Mocha Card with Isha

Hello everyone! Isha here today sharing the Merry Mocha stamp and dies, which aren't available for purchase this year but can be received as a free gift with a $45+ purchase through Monday, November 27 (see below for full promotion details). This is such a lovely stamp and perfect for this time of the year. As you know me I love rainbow colors, so I thought why not have hot mocha in rainbow colored cups with some rainbow frosting, interesting RIGHT?

I started by cutting a subtle snow pattern from the Joyful Holiday paper pack. Next, I flicked some white  and clear sparkle paint, let it dry. Sponge kitsch flamingo and tumbled glass distress inks. Cut a stripe of black pattern from the Sleek Stripes paper pack, adhere to the base. Die-cut the snowflake using the Lacy Snowflakes dies from clear sparkle paper. Adhere to the card.

Stamp the image five times, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere to the card using various thickness of 3d foam. Add some nuvo crystal glaze to the snowflakes. Add chunky glitter to the frosting. Finally, stamp the sentiment and die-cut using the coordinating dies and adhere to the card.

Merry Mocha Card with Bobbi

Hello Sunny friends, Bobbi here! I’ve poured a cup of merry for you today. You can choose which mug you would like because this card offers 8 different colorful and festive mug and sprinkle options. I’m using the new Merry Mocha stamps and dies by Sunny Studio Stamps. What makes this stamp set so very MERRY is that it is the "FREE gift with purchase" for a limited time!

My card measures 5″ X 7″ and is made from Neenah 80lb white cardstock.  To make this card, I stamped the phrase from the set in the middle of the card front in black ink. I stamped eight mugs around the sentiment. (TIP: If you use the MISTI stamping tool, you can use the ruler guides to evenly space the images.) I colored each mug in a different combination of colors, added color to the whip cream using YR30, YR31 and E53 and R27 to the peppermint sticks. I colored the holly and berries in YG67, YG17, YG03, R89 and R17.

Once all the mugs were colored, I added a Ruby Red Jewel to the middle of the snowflakes on each mug. I also added 1/8″ strips of fuchsia pink to the top and bottom of the card front panel for a border.  Lastly, I added extra, random sprinkles on the card front using all the colors of the mugs.

Penguin Pals Card with Rachel

Hello crafty friends! It's Rachel here with a Christmas card featuring one of the sweet little penguins from the Penguin Pals Stamp Set.

I combined this set with a gorgeous sentiment from the Season's Greetings Stamp Set. I first stamped my images (penguin and candy cane) onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored them with Copic alcohol markers and used the coordinating Penguin Pals Die Set to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:

• White: 0, C00, C1, C3
• Black: W7, W9
• Reds: R14, R46, R59, R89
• Orange: YR04, YR18
• Cheeks: RV52

For my background, I trimmed a piece of light blue card stock slightly larger than 4.25" x 5.5" and blended the top of it with some MFT Blue Yonder Premium Dye Ink. I also added some snow spatters with some diluted Copic Opaque White Paint. Next, I trimmed off the ink smudges from the edges by cutting my panel down to 4.25" x 5.5" with my paper trimmer. I then die cut a stitched snow drift from white card stock with one of the Slimline Nature Border Dies. 

To finish my card, I heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of red card stock with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder and then adhered it to my card base with some liquid adhesive after I die cut it. Lastly, I added my images with 3D foam adhesive tape and also adhered a strip of patterned paper from the All is Bright Paper Pad at the bottom of my card.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Holiday Cards with Sara Zoppi

Hi crafty friends, Sara here! Today I am really thrilled to be here, guesting again for Sunny Studio Stamps! I really love their products, they are always so funny and sweet! For my guesting spot, I made two cards, using their recent Holiday released products. So, let's dive into the first one!

Look how cute is that big bear from the Holiday Hugs stamp set. I absolutely fell in love with him as soon as I saw him!

I stamped the image with a really light grey ink since I wanted a no-line look over a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I then colored with Copics (Y28 – E84 – E81 – N5 – N4 – W7 – W5 – W4 – W0) and I added some details with white gel pen. I then fussy cut it because I wanted no white edges.

I then moved into the background: I started from a light sage cardstock and I created a quick hill shape with tape to darken the sky. I then used a white texture paste with the Forest Trees Stencil to create a white line of trees.

To complete the card, I added some snowflakes with white gel pen, I white heat embossed the "holiday" script from the Holiday Hugs stamp over some grey cardstock and I die cut it with coordinating dies. The wishes word was stamped over a strip of white cardstock. And here's the finished result!

The finished sage panel measures 3,5"x4,75" and I matted it firstly with a slightly larger silver sparkly cardstock and then with an A2 white panel impressed with the Dotted Diamond Portrait Die.

And here's the finished result!

My second and last inspiration showcases the Pretty Poinsettia stamp set. I started with the idea to create a red monochrome poinsettia wreath but I when I was stamping the red flower, I had the idea to create a rainbow wreath for some colorful wishes!

I created a 5,5"x5,5" square card, with the script sentiment at the centre and all the poinsettia around.

I firstly die cut all the poinsettia shapes from some white cardstock and I created a sort of "template" to insert the die cut pieces and repeatedly stamp the solid flowers in the same place using a stamping tool. I carefully stamped all the layers for each color (you can skip the change of colors and create a monochromatic card). I then gold heat embossed the sentiment included in the stamp set and I cuti t with a circle punch.

I attached all the flowers with foam tape to a 5"x5" piece of white cardstock, I also added the circle sentiment in the centre. I then matted the panel with a slightly larger mirror gold cardstock and then with a 5,5"x5,5" white panel again. To complete the card, I added some gold gems here and there. And here's the finished result!

Pretty Poinsettia Card with Tina

Hello crafty friends, Tina here with a festive Christmas card featuring the beautiful Pretty Poinsettia stamp and die set. These layering stamps create the most stunning flowers!

I went with a favorite holiday color combo of pink, red and teals for the flowers and the leaves. These are such beautiful winter tones. I stamped 5 flowers and a bunch of the two leaves that the set provides. As always with layering stamps, I used the image sheet the stamps come on to help me position the layers. I added a few white dots with my gel pen on the flowers for extra detail.

To make the flowers really stand out, I opted for a white background but with a festive detail. This panel was made by combining two die sets.

I started by die cutting the outer portion of the beautiful Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace dies. Next, I used the striped part of the Frilly Frames Stripes die to complete the background. Having the opportunity to mix and match these ‘Frilly series’ dies creates endless possibilities!

As I was browsing through the new release, I noticed that the super adorable bear from Holiday Hugs Stamps was just perfect to combine with these festive Poinsettias. I stamped and cut the sweet bear and used matching Copic marker colors. I love that he can hold the sentiment from the Pretty Poinsettia stamp in his paws!

Then I started putting the card together by gluing the bear to the background panel and adding the sentiment which was cut with a small circle die from an infinity set.

I arranged the flowers around the bear and mounted them with foam tape, lastly, I scattered the leaves, filling the gaps. A few Chrystal Clear Jewels were added as a final embellishment.
