Just Bee-cause Cards with Vanessa and Anja

Hello to you! Vanessa here today with an inside shadowbox card using the Just Bee-Cause set. The outside is pretty simple, the magic is happening inside:

I first created my inside shadowbox card using white cardstock, my scoring board and a rectangle die. Before assembling it, I colored the inside bottom with green Copics. Then I covered the front with patterned paper from the Amazing Argyle 6x6 pad. 

Using the Comic Strip Everyday Dies, I die-cut the strip of grass from white cardstock, colored it green and adhered it inside. Now I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut them with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment for the outside and the inside onto a strip of yellow cardstock, trimmed it and adhered the strips to the card. I love how the the various Sunny Studio stamps work together! Besides the Just Bee-Cause set, I used A Bird's Life, Happy Harvest and Silly Sloths.

Hello everyone, Anja here and today I'm featuring the adorable Just Bee-cause 2x3 mini stamp set. It works perfectly with the Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies.

I used both dies together and cut the scalloped hexagon design from yellow cardstock. I layered it on top of a piece of patterned paper from the Heroic Halftones Paper pack.

Next, I die cut a circle from Bristol paper and did some ink blending with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks. I added two stitched clouds using the Fluffy Clouds Dies. To make them lighter, I carefully applied white pigment ink with a sponge dauber. I die cut one of the Fancy Frames Circle Dies and adhered it to the sky background circle.

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink onto a strip of black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Finally, I adhered the framed circle and images with foam tape and tucked the sentiment strip under the beehive.

Frilly Frames Die Focused Cards with Franci and Ana

Hi there! Franci here with you today with a cute card showcasing one of the new Frilly Frames dies.

First I die cut my Frilly Frames Retro Petal out of white cardstock and I created a card base to match. I added some gold watercolor soft splatters to the front of my card, I let it dry and then I glued my die cut on top with liquid glue. I think this white on white design make my die cut background pop without being too much and I really like it :)

I also stamped, colored and die cut this cutie from the Woodsy Autumn set and I love this raccoon and all his apples, there's something about raccoons that makes me smile all the times!! I also cut out a stripe of white cardstock, colored with red Copics to match the apples, let it dry and white heat embossed my sentiment on.

I die cut the Hello word die out of white cardstock and white foam tape. I colored the paper die cut to match my raccoon scarf and I glued everything together to have a dimensional element. I glued everything down to my card and added some details with a white gel pen.

Hello everyone! Ana here today with an elegant card featuring beautiful Frilly Frames Retro Petals dies. I just love this new addition to Frilly Frames family of dies and the gorgeous retro petal background it creates when die cut!

I started with die cutting a piece of white cardstock with Retro Petal Die then added wide post-it tape to the back to keep all the pieces in place. I then inked the entire panel with VersaMark Watermark sticky ink, and sprinkled WOW embossing powder (Mayan Glintz) all over the panel, melted the powder and set the panel aside.

I created the second white die cut panel by combining Frilly Frames Retro Petals die and scalloped mat from Frilly Frames Hexagon die. I love that the entire Frilly Frames line can be mixed and matched for creating variety of different designs. For the sentiment (from Elegant Leaves stamp set), I heat embossed Thankful and For You on white cardstock, fussy cut the word Thankful then adhered it to the vellum strip.

I popped all the petals out of the first embossed panel and adhered them on the second white background using foam tape, creating the flowers. I added crystals to the center of each flower then adhered the sentiments to the bottom of the panel.

Woodsy Autumn Cards with Juliana and Angelica

Hello friends! It's Juliana and today I'm sharing a card featuring the adorable Woodsy Autumn Stamp Set. I've used it to create a happy little fall scene and mixed in some of the patterned papers from the Colorful Autumn Paper.

I began by stamping all of the cute critters from the Woodsy Autumn Stamp Set. I then colored them using Copic Markers and die cut them using the Woodsy Autumn Dies. At this point, I wasn't totally sure which critters would make it onto the card, but in the end, I selected the owl, hedgehog and raccoon!

The little critters needed a base to stand on, so I cut a piece of green paper from the Colorful Autumn Paper using the Woodland Border Die. Next, I took the stitched scallop mat from the Frilly Frames Hexagon Die and cut a piece of brown paper from the Colorful Autumn Paper. I then trimmed the blue leaves paper to the size of the stitched area of the frame. Once all of these pieces where cut, I layered them together and added them to a piece of plaid paper cut to 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

The final step was to create my scene. I added the tree, along with an apple and some little leaves. I sure hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration using the Woodsy Autumn Stamp Set. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi friends, Angelica here with a fall card. I love the small accessory stamps Sunny Studio Stamps includes in most of their stamp sets, and I decided to use a variety of them for this card.

I used the 3 3/4 Gina K Designs Wreath Builder template to make a perfect leaves and acorns wreath. I used small stamps from two stamp sets: Woodsy Autumn and Autumn Greetings (red maple leaf). After I was done stamping the wreath, I used Copic Markers to color the images. I stamp a sentiment from Autumn Greetings in the middle of the wreath with a crisp black ink.

To finish the card, I used a Fancy Frames Circle die to die-cut a window from a white card stock panel. I die-cut another frame from Fog card stock. I used foam adhesive on the backside of the panel to put the frame in place. I splattered a little bit of black ink onto the panel, then attached it to the wreath. I added the panel to a Fog card base to finish the card.

Plane Awesome Cards with Eloise and Leanne

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I’m using the Plane Awesome Stamp Set and Fluffy Cloud Border Dies to create a ‘Sending Hugs’ card.

I started off with stamping out my images and colouring them in with Copic Markers. I then cut them out and also cut some Fluffy Cloud Border’s out as well from plain white cardstock.

(Copic Markers Used: YR30, Y21, Y32, Y35 / YR20, YR21, YR23, YR24, YR27 / R00, R30, R32, R35 / B61, B23, B66, B69 / B0000, B000, 0 / YG01, YG03, YG25, YG67 / W00 / C00, C0, C1, C3 / N0, N2, N4, N6 / E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E49)

Once all my images were cut out, I cut one of the planes in half, so I’d have three planes but didn’t have to colour three.

I then took a piece of watercolour paper and ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on it. I then flicked on some water and dried it off with a heat tool. I then added foam tape to the back of my cloud pieces and adhered it on the top and bottom of my watercolour panel. I also added foam tape to the backs of my images and adhered them into place as well.

For my sentiment, I used the banner I coloured and cut before and stamped the ‘Sending Hugs’ on top. I then added more foam tape and adhered it underneath one of the planes. I finished off with adding white details to the images and that completed my card for today.

Hello everyone, Leanne here! I have a fun interactive card to share today which features images from Plane Awesome. The little plane and its adorable pilot take flight with help from the Sliding Window die.

This interactive card was so easy to make but still big on wow factor thanks to the cute airplane and pilot that appear to fly through the clouds when the sliding window is opened.

I used patterned paper from Summer Splash and Surprise Party 6x6 paper pads for the sliding window frame and reveal panel. I found the weight of the patterned paper to be sturdy enough for this type of interactive card.  

With the sliding window closed, I adhered the airplane and clouds. I made sure to not add adhesive above the fold line. The clouds above that line are adhered to the back of the plane and pilot. I also stamped the greeting which is from the Plane Awesome set. 

I kept the reveal panel simple and only added a stamped sentiment overtop the pattern paper. I wanted as much of the rainbow pattern to show as possible. It's such a pretty pattern and gives a bright colorful surprise when the window is opened. 

While we didn't get a chance to participate in a crafty fundraiser in the past few weeks due to being overwhelmed here behind the scenes, our hearts still go out to those affected by Hurricane Dorian and we wanted to help. With your sweet support we donated $2000 to Convoy of Hope this past week to help feed Hurricane victims. Thank you for being such a giving community.
