I have two projects to share today - both with an autumn theme. I used lots of color and lots of patterned paper too - just my style. Happy September everyone!
First up today is a
cheerful autumn card made featuring the Happy Harvest stamps and coordinating dies. The
images are so fun and cute, and the sentiments are gorgeous.
I love it when Sunny Studio mixes the fonts! The font for this card is from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set.
I used my Copic markers to color the tree, the birds and the pumpkins. I created a soft background using Distress inks. I started with a white A2 card base and layered Sunny Studio gingham patterned paper in a beautiful teal. Then I layered some vellum, and then my top layer.
I stamped and die cut all the images and colored them in. I added glitter accents and white gel pen accents. Two of my favorite ways to jazz up a card. I layered everything onto the card using foam tape. To finish off, I used clear Nuvo Drops and added clear dots! I love introducing blue or teal with orange since those colors look so nice together.

My second project is a
sweet treat bag made with more beautiful Sunny Studio patterned papers, and the
FUN Nutty For You acorn die set. SO CUTE! I love this acorn guy with his pink
cheeks and little smile!
The bag is a glassine bag from my stash. I put some gold/almond Hershey's Kisses inside for a sweet treat and then folded and stapled the top. I wrapped a band of paper around the entire bag. Then I die cut out the acorn and attached it with foam tape.
I used the supper pretty Autumn Splendor stamps and coordinating dies to make a couple of leaves for the top. Those are also attached with foam tape. I added a small circle with the sentiment and some stamped leaves (from the Happy Harvest stamp set).
Finish it off with a bit of natural twine! Sure to make anyone smile. These would be cute for the Thanksgiving table or just any fall occasion.

Not only did you make the most darling-of-all-time acorn (complete with pink cheeks made of patterned paper) but you filled with it with one of my favorite candies. I think I need to come trick or treat at your house, Wanda!! :)
