Card No. 1: Up first is card using a super fun and versatile new die called Comic Strip Everyday die. For this card card I created a sampler of sorts showing you all the cute ways the parts and pieces within the Comic Strip frame can be layered and used. For my sentiment I turned to our Happy Home Stamps.
Card No. 2: For this card I focused on using the houses à la carte without the comic strip frame, pairing it with another sentiment from our Happy Home set. Once again I must point out that these dies have some very tiny pieces to contend with given the small windows and doors you can layer together, but nothing a little glue pen can handle and the results make it all worthwhile. ;)
For the center house I cut the my own rectangular base to turn it into a two-story house and add some extra height and variation to my neighborhood scene. I also popped up the center portion of each house with foam tape to make them look more 3D and happily discovered our Striped Silly 6x6 Paper is sized just right to create the look of lap siding. There truly are so many different combinations you could create and I can't wait to see what you all dream up!

Card No. 3: Up next is a card using the Comic Strip frame without the other parts and pieces. Instead I combined it with the images of another new stamp set called Home Sweet Gnome. Rather than inking up my background like I did on my first card, this time I created a colorblocked look by filing the squares with a mix of our Classic Gingham Papers and new Gingham Jewel Tones Papers. I love how it looks to have the little groupings extend beyond the confines of the individual frames!
Card No. 4: For my next card I used a similar idea, this time turning the Comic Strip Everyday die on it's side for a horizontal design. The little grassy border that comes with this die is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine. Its small scale is the perfect compliment to so many of our smaller stamp images.
Card No. 5 (outside): For my next card I combined the gnomes from Home Sweet Gnome with a new standalone die called Woodland Borders which comes with two stitched hillside dies that give you 4 possible edges to use, along with three layering trees and a small bonus pop-up die. For this card I cut all my trees from white cardstock and colored them with quick brushstrokes using my Copic markers in three or four different shades of green.
I thought it would be fun to create an everyday gnome card by bringing in the mushroom house from our Backyard Bugs Stamps.

Card No. 5 (inside): For the inside I used the bonus little pop-up die to create a pop-up card. For my background I inked up my sky using Tumbled Glass Distress ink and stamped the clouds from our Rain or Shine and Sunny Sentiments sets with Colorbox Mermaid Ink.
