Hi there! Vanessa here
today with a loosely watercolored card using Christmas Home. For this card, I
thought it would be fun to use the images on the background, not as a focal
point.
I started
with a panel of watercolor paper and stamped the images using waterproof ink.
Then I colored them in loosely with watercolors. After the background was
dried, I adhered the panel to the card. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the
sentiment onto a rectangle of red cardstock and adhered it. Finally, I added
red enamel dots to the card.
With this technique you
could mass produce cards easily, just stamp the images onto a large piece of
watercolor paper, then color and trim the paper into panels. Because you don't
have to care much about staying inside the lines of the images, the coloring is
done pretty quickly :)
Thanks for stopping by today, see you next week!
