Hello there! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday week! We are switching gears and transitioning from Christmas to Spring this week, featuring a new mini stamp set called Heart Bouquet which follows in the footsteps of our Floating By stamps. I'm so excited! Let's jump right in, shall we?
Card No.1: For my first card featuring the set I colored my balloons with various shades of pink using my Copic Markers and then added the bunny, dog and bear from our Beach Buddies Stamps to look like the critters are parachuting with the Heart Bouquet stamps. For my backdrop I inked up a panel using Picked Raspberry distress ink together with the cloud border die from our Slimline Nature Border dies which I cut from masking material. These slimline dies have so many different options in the 9" length so I was able to stagger and move my die-cut mask to look like a number of different clouds when layering them. When I was done I die-cut the panel using our Slimline Pennant Dies and mounted them onto a pink textured cardstock panel. I think die-cut the smallest pennant from the slimline set from Polka-dot Parade Paper, cutting on the ends and heat embossed the greeting from the Heart Bouquet stamps. My final step was stamping some of the mini hearts from the new set to trail along in the background. I just love how they look!
Card No.2: For my next love themed card I colored the kissing polar bears from our Bear Hugs Stamps and then added white polka-dots to their sweaters using my Sharpie white extra fine point paint pen. My card panel was cut from a pink sunburst print from our Spring Sunburst Paper pack and a stitched edge added to the bottom using a die from our Slimline Basic Border dies.
To frame my bears I layered our Stitched Circle Small Dies together with our Fancy Frames Circle Dies. I then grounded the couple with a shortened pennant from our Slimline Pennant Dies cut from a pink check print from our Very Merry Paper pack and layered with the hugs sentiment from our Scalloped Oval Mat 3 Dies set.
Card No. 3: My last card showcases the new Heart Bouquet stamps together with the hanging sloth from our Lazy Christmas Stamps. For my custom New Year's greeting I paired our Chloe Alphabet Dies, Chloe Number Dies and Happy Thoughts Stamps. To frame my scene I turned to our Frilly Frames Eyelet Lace Dies and added four strips of rainbow striped paper from our Sweater Weather Paper to the edges with the corners mitered to make the stripes visible from all the edges.
Here's a closer look at the new Heart Bouquet stamps and Heart Bouquet dies. While these are available in our store now, the rest of our Spring Release will be shared with our Sneak Peek Week next week and available to purchase on January 7th.
Please note: we are out of the office this week so all orders will be held and shipped out when we return on January 1st.
I hope you will check back each day this week to see more fun ideas using this cute set by the rest of the team. :)
