I created a tone on tone
pattern on my card base by stamping the toast, butter and little heart images
in yellow ink on yellow cardstock. I also stamped toast and butter with
brown ink on cream cardstock and used colored pencils to color them in.
I popped my images up
with some foam adhesive and then stamped the sentiment, little arms, and legs
around my images. I added a few enamel heart accents and stamped
some tiny pink hearts as well. Finally, I added some small googly eyes on
the toast for a little more fun.
My second card is clean
and simple. I die cut a piece of white woodgrain cardstock and mounted it
with foam tape onto an aqua card base. The little "sparkles" are stamped, using the Born To Sparkle stamp set, with distress oxide ink in rainbow order from one corner to
the other.
I die cut the Sparkle Word die sentiment from white glitter cardstock and used Copic markers to color it in a
rainbow. I stacked it on top of two more die cuts to create a thick die
cut in the center of the card. I used white embossing powder for the
smaller parts of the sentiment on black cardstock and then cut them out and
mounted them on thin foam adhesive. I finished it off with some colored
jewels on each of the stamped areas and clear jewels around the sentiment.
My last card is a one
layer card, using the Birthday Balloon set, which I rarely create. But I had fun stamping these layered
balloons with lots of ink colors. I stamped all of the lighter colors
first to arrange my balloons. I started in the center and worked my way
to the edges to that they were evenly spaced. After stamping all the colors
I used Versafine black ink to stamp the strings and sentiment. Finally, I
added some fun flat sequins to look like confetti.
Big thanks to Mendi for
having me as a guest today. Happy Stamping!
