Sealiously Sweet Card by Tina

Hello crafters, it’s Tina and we are ready for a fun beach day! How adorable are the cuties from the Sealiously Sweet stamp and die set! So let’s create a breezy summer card together by making a white card base which we’ll embellish with a striped stencil from my stash and some Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide.

For the centerpiece, I cut two circles from white card stock with the outer of the Stitched Circles Large set. One of them will be my base to which I will glue the scene parts. To obtain these parts, I cut the second white circle in three using two of the Catch a Wave dies.

The bottom portion was turned into a sandy beach (Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide), for the waves and sky I used Prize Ribbon again (sky stencil from my stash). Some water splatters added lots of details to these pieces.

Next, I glued the three parts together onto the white circle we already made, and they fit like a little puzzle. I selected three adorable seals and a sun hat from the Sealiously Sweet stamp and colored them with my Copic markers. As always, I added some white details with a gel pen.

Then I took my time to figure out where I would place the seals so I had enough space left for my big sentiment (Beach Buddies) which I stamped directly to the sky portion with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Before mounting the seals, I did add a few splashes of ‘foam’ using a white pigment ink from my stash and a small blending brush. To really emphasize the scene I also adhered a double layer of a white circle border (Fancy Frames Circle dies). As a final embellishment, I sprinkled a few blue diamonds from the Bright Jewel mix.

Ocean View Card with Amanda

Hey friends! It’s Amanda back here with you on the blog today! I just got back from the beach and I am FEELING this card right now! Nothing better than a girls’ day on the beach!

I had so much fun coloring this card and I’m excited to share with you all the details about this card! The background stamp is from the Ocean View Stamps. I stamped it using my MISTI and black ink onto a piece of white cardstock trimmed to 4”x5.25”.

I stamped my girlies from the Beach Babies Stamps on a separate piece of white cardstock. The inner tube came from the Beach Buddies Stamps. I stamped my sentiment directly onto my background, using my MISTI to line it up perfectly!

Once I had all my stamping done, it was time to color! I used Copic markers to color all the images and a white Gelly Roll pen for all the dots and highlights.

Once colored, I cut the images out with their coordinating die sets. Next, I put 3D foam squares behind the images and adhered them to my card panel. Finally, I glued the card panel to an A2 card base.

Kiddie Pool & Ocean View Cards with Mendi

Hello and welcome! This is Mendi here today, popping in to share some summer cards featuring our Kiddie Pool Stamps, among several other fun sets.

First, I have a vertical slimline-style card using the Kiddie Pool Stamps. I started by inking my 4" x 8.5" white cardstock background with twisted citron and mowed lawn distress inks. I then used the various grass tufts from the Tulip Path Backdrop Stamps to stamp a repeated grass pattern in my background using VersaFine Clair Verdant Ink. I stamped three blow-up pools from the set and colored them in hot pink, yellow, and orange to stack down the center of my card. I then set to work decorating each pool scene using the kids from the set. I added a duck to the first pool from the Puddle Jumpers Stamps and the beach ball to the last pool from the Beach Babies Stamps.

For my second card, I paired the kids and beach chair from the Kiddie Pool Stamps with the tiki bar, drinks, and tiki torch from the Tiki Time Stamps, and the palm tree beach border including the other beach chair and umbrella from the Ocean View Stamps. I added the banner from the Balloon Rides Stamps to decorate the Tiki Bar and stamped the clouds from the Ocean View set, keeping them as simple aqua outlines to match the sky. I completed my card with a "summer greetings" sentiment from the Beach Bus Stamps.

Fintastic Friends Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a fun underwater birthday card to share with you featuring these adorable images from the Fintastic Friends, Kiddie Pool and Tropical Scenes sets. I love how well these sets can mix and match with one another.

I stamped the images from the Fintastic Friends Stamps, Kiddie Pool Stamps and Tropical Scenes Stamps sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Fintastic Friends Dies, Kiddie Pool Dies and Tropical Scenes Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

For the background, I ink blended the lower half of another piece of Neenah white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks.

For the sentiment, I stamped the "Have a" and "Birthday" from the Panda Party Stamps and the "fintastic" from the Fintastic Friends stamps set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used one of the banner dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies to diecut it out.

The colored images and sentiment strip were adhered to the inked panel with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few Majestic Clear Confetti.
