Summer Greenery Die Focused Cards with Audrey and Vanessa

Hello friends! Audrey here with a fun, artsy card to share with you! I pulled out my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers that I haven't used in a while for this one!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Greenery Die Focused Card by Audrey Tokach (featuring Baby Elephants)

To create this card, I started out by die cutting the leaves from the Summer Greenery die set from several different colors of green cardstock and then I inked them with various shades of green Distress ink. I decided where I wanted the focal point of my card to be and used my Zig Clean Color markers to add some drippy watercolor to that area. When it was dry, I splattered on some black watercolor leaving the bottom right of the panel white to give the eye a place to rest.

I arranged my leaves and adhered them down with a glue pen. Then, I stamped and colored one of the cute little elephants from the Baby Elephants stamp set and die cut him with the coordinating Baby Elephants die. I popped him with up foam tape in the center of the leaf pile.

I stamped a sentiment from the set in black ink just below the focal point. For some added interest, I added a strip of striped washi tape the bottom edge of the panel, and trimmed a tiny bit off of the top edge of the panel so that when I mounted it on a light green card base, some of the color would peek out the bottom. To finish off this card, I added some white gel pen accents and a scattering of green iridescent sequins.

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a slimline summer card using the Summer Greenery Dies with the Fabulous Flamingos.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Summer Greenery Die Focused Card by Vanessa Menhorn (featuring Fabulous Flamingos, Slimline Dies)

I first die-cut the stitched panel from Kraft cardstock and adhered it to the card base. Now I inked a panel of white cardstock with Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink, die-cut the leaves from it and adhered them to the card with foam tape.

Here is a list of today's supplies:
Summer Greenery Dies
Fabulous Flamingos stamps + dies
Radiant Plumeria stamps
Slimline Scalloped Frame Dies

Then I stamped the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card, popping up the pieces with foam tape. I stamped the "summer", fussy-cut it and added it to the front. Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the "greetings", trimmed it and adhered it to the card.

Have a lovely and sunny weekend, everybody!

Watering Can Cards with Marieke and Marine

Hello Sunny Studio friends, Marieke here. Today I hope to inspire you with an underwater card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Watering Can Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Fintastic Friends, Tropical Scenes)

As always I made the background first. I ink blended the colors Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon and adhered the panel onto a white topfold base card.

Die cut the watering can using the Watering Can dies and colored it up using my Copic markers. Then I stamped the inner second layering stamp out of the Watering Can stamp using a black ink. Heat set the sentiment that comes in the set using white embossing powder.

Adhered all the images onto the card using foam tape or glue and finished the card by adding some clear drops.

Hey crafty friends, happy Thursday! Marine here, super happy to be back this week with another stamp layering card! Today I'm showcasing the Watering Can stamp set again, but this time, I'm putting some beautiful sunflowers from the Sunflower Fields stamp set in it. A good way to officially start making fall cards!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Watering Can Card by Marine Simon (featuring Sunflower Fields, Quilted Hearts Dies)

I started by stamping the watering can. I wanted it to bring a bold contrast with the sunflowers, so I stamped it using dark blue inks. Next I stamped some sunflowers and leaves, and to make sure that I was layering the stamps correctly, I used the guide on the Sunflower Fields page to help me line up everything.

And just like the Lovely Lilacs card I shared last week, I used Lawn Fawn dye inks to stamp all the images:
Watering can: blue jay + deep sea
Leaves: celery stick + freshly cut grass + jalapeno

Next step was to create the background. I cut a Quilted Heart Portrait panel out of bristol cardstock, and used salvaged patina, peacock feathers and blueprint sketch oxide inks to color it. I added lots of texture to that panel, and once it was dry, I attached it to a piece of white cardstock.

I stuck the watering can and the sunflowers using 1mm and 2mm foam squares, and next I added my sentiment. I white heat embossed the "Autumn blessings" sentiment from Happy Harvest on black cardstock, trimmed it into a small banner and added a piece of white cardstock to create an outline, and used clear foam squares to stick that banner on the panel.

I attached the panel to a white card base, and finally glued a few clear droplets here and there to bring a touch of shine to the card. And that's it, super pretty and bright, I hope that you like it. I have a process video for you, so feel welcome to watch it for more information (click on the image above). Thank you so much for stopping by, and see you next week!

Swimming Pool Die Focused Cards with Alma and Gladys

Hi, this is Alma and today I want to show you a happy shaker card even though it's a rain card. We're having a heatwave here in Germany, so we could use a cooling-down in form of a card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Swimming Pool Die Focused Card by Alma Störk (featuring Rain or Shine)

I decided to go with a rectangular card format and first cut a rectangle of about 4 by 2 inches into the card base. For the shaker frame I cut a 4.5 by 2.5 inch rectangle. I then cut another rectangle of 4 by 2 inches into it to create a frame. I glued foil into both rectangles. Then I glued the frame to the cardstock and filled the shaker element with the Iridescent Clear Jewels.

Then I coloured the dog and the umbrella from the Rain or Shine stamp set with Copics and mirrored them using the mirror stamping technique. I also coloured the reflection and inserted it into the Swimming Pool die. To increase the reflection effect I glued on a vellum. Now I stamped the text from the Rain or Shine stamp set on the inside of the card and stamped the clouds from the same set and punched them out with the matching Rain or Shine Dies! Finished!

-------------------------------------------------

Hello friends! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Gladys here and I'm excited to be back on the blog to share my project using the Swimming Pool die. This awesome die is the perfect element to use with all your summer projects. For my card I combined it with the adorable seals from an older stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Swimming Pool Die Focused Card by Gladys Marcelino (featuring Sealiously Sweet)

To start I created the background using a sunray stencil and distress oxide inks. I lightly blended the inks on Bristol smooth cardstock. Then I lay the stencil and use a heavier hand to blend the same inks. I do this method so that I don't have the white showing from the cardstock and the darker ink blend makes the rays more prominent.

Next I stamped and colored several seals from Sealiously Sweet stamp set using alcohol markers. I use the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also used the Swimming Pool die to cut from white cardstock and colored it with markers.

To assemble the card I cut a piece of dark gray cardstock and mounted it on the bottom of the panel. I used a combination of liquid glue and foam tape to adhere the images. For the sentiment I heat embossed on black cardstock and stamped the word "summer" using our Beach Buddies set onto the panel. For the finishing touch I used a white gel pen to add white highlights.

Thanks so much for joining me. Have a wonderful day!!

Ocean View Cards with Kavya and Isha

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with another fun project. It’s an ocean themed card so it’s all about color this week!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Ocean View Card by Kavya (featuring Kiddie Pool, Oceans of Joy, Slimline Dies)

I first started off by stamping and coloring a bunch of images from Ocean ViewKiddie Pool and Oceans of Joy. Then, I created my background my ink bending pink and orange dye inks and used a generic sun burst stencil to make it a bit more interesting.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Ocean View Card by Kavya (featuring Kiddie Pool, Oceans of Joy, Slimline Dies)

Then, I used the wave die from Slimline Nature Border dies to die cut and ink blend the water. Adhere all the images and add a sentiment to finish off the card!

That’s it! I hope you liked this fun card. Happy crafting!

---------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, Isha here with yet another alcohol ink background featuring the Ocean View stamps and dies. I love the effect of alcohol inks for water and the foil adds a perfect accent to it.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Ocean View Card by Isha Gupta (featuring Fintastic Friends)

I started by creating the background using ranger alcohol inks onto alcohol ink paper. I used some shades of teal and blue. Next I applied WOW! fab foil in silver for the water effect.

Stamp the images (corals, crab and shell) from the Ocean View stamp set, color using copic markers, die-cut using the coordinating dies. Next stamp the rest of the images from the Fintastic Friends stamp set, color and die-cut using the coordinating dies.

Adhere the images to the panel. I used 3d foam to some of the images for dimensional feel. Stamp the sentiment from the Teacher Appreciation stamp. Adhere to the panel. Adhere this panel to a royal blue card base.

Thanks from dropping by and have a nice day!
