Tropical Trees Backdrop Die Focused Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a summer card combining the Tropical Trees Backdrop dies with various sets.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tropical Trees Backdrop Die Focused Card by Vanessa Menhorn (featuring Sealiously Sweet, Chloe Alphabet Dies, Beach Babies)

I trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card base. Now I used the Swimming Pool Die to trim off the edge of the water. I inked the bottom part with Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide ink to create the beach, masking off the sky with masking paper I cut with the Slimline Nature Borders Dies and inked the top part with Tumbled Glass ink. Now I inked a smaller panel with the blue ink, too and adhered it behind the beach panel and onto the card. I stamped the images and die-cut the palm tree, colored everything with Copic markers, die-cut the images with the matching dies and adhered all elements to the card.

Again, I used a variety of sets:
Beach Babies stamps + dies
Sealiously Sweet stamps + dies
Passionate Penguins stamps dies
Tiki Time stamps
Chloe Alphabet Dies
Tropical Trees Backdrop
Swimming Pool Dies

Now I die-cut the letters, inked them with the same ink I used for the water, matted them with black letters to create a shadow and adhered them. After I had die-cut and added the clouds, I finally stamped the rest of the sentiment.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Thanks for visiting!

Hello friends! Audrey here with a tropical nighttime scene to share with you!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tropical Trees Backdrop Die Focused Card by Audrey Tokach (featuring Comic Strip Everyday Dies, Basic Mini Shape Dies)

I started off by inking a piece of white cardstock cut to 4.25" x 5.5" with Distress inks in Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin, then I splattered with some clean water and some metallic watercolor to add some extra interest. I die cut the Tropical Trees Backdrop and a trio of palm trees and clouds from black cardstock and glued everything down with a glue pen. I added a tiny car from the Comic Strip Everyday die set, which coordinates perfectly with a sentiment from the Country Carnival stamp set.

To finish off the night sky, I added a scattering of white starts die cut using the Basic Mini Shape Dies II die set and then added some white gel pen accents to the clouds. This simple card packs a punch with the high contrast of the bright sunset sky and the dark die cuts.

Lovely Lilacs Cards with Marine and Marieke

Hello crafty friends, Marine here with you today, I'm so happy to be back on the blog with a new shaker card, I just can't help myself they're so fun and easy to make, showcasing the gorgeous Lovely Lilacs stamp set, as well as the Watering Can stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Lovely Lilacs Card by Marine Simon (featuring Watering Can, Stitched Arch Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies)

I started off with the layering and stamping process of the images. I used dye inks by Lawn Fawn to stamp all the images, and when I use layering stamps for the first time, I always like to prep the stamps, meaning that I first add clear embossing ink on the stamp, next I clean the stamp and then I apply the chosen colored ink. Adding clear embossing ink first helps the colored ink to get a good grip on the stamp and this way the stamping is more precise and the result consistent.

And one amazing thing about Sunny Studio's layering stamp sets is that there is a guide on the products pages to help us line up the stamps correctly and get a beautiful result! So easy and useful!

Next I created the Watering Can. It has only two layers, and I used two shades of yellow in order to compliment the lilac flowers nicely.

Here are the Lawn Fawn ink colors I used to create the flowers & watering can:
flowers: fresh lavender + grape soda + grape jelly + sugarplum
leaves: celery stick + freshly cut grass + doe
watering can: lemonade + sunflower

Next I created the shaker panel. I cut a 5,5 x 4,25" panel out of a Sweater Weather pattern paper, and cut a Stitched Arch window out of it. And I also cut a 5,5 x 4,25" bristol panel that I colored using shaded lilac oxide ink.

I attached a piece of acetate at the back of the window panel, and added four layers of foam tape at the back of it, on the four edges. Next I applied powder inside the window, all along the foam edges, that makes the foam edges non sticky so the sequins don't stick to it. Quickly cleaned the acetate to get rid of any excess of powder, and then added a mix of purple & dark blue sequins + Clear jewels inside the window.

I peeled the backing papers off the foam tape, and attached the shaded lilac panel to totally close and complete the shaker panel. And next I attached the watering can and flowers using 1mm and 2mm foam squares.

For my sentiment, I cut a banner out of vellum using a die from the Stitched Rectangles die set, and I white heat embossed the "Thinking of you" sentiment from the Watering Can stamp set on it, and I attached that banner on the bottom right hand corner of the panel using clear foam squares.

And to totally finish the card, I added a few clear droplets here and there to catch the light and bring more shine. And that's it! I love those beautiful lilac flowers, how the colors coordinate nicely with the watering can and background, and I hope that you like it too. As always, you are more than welcome to check the process video for more details and information (click on the image above). Thank you so much for stopping by, and see you next week!

Hello Sunny Studio friends, Marieke here with you. Today I hope to inspire you with a Clean and Simple card. For my card this time around there is no coloring involved.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Lovely Lilacs Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Scalloped Tag Dies, Inside Greetings)

I started with inking up the Lovely Lilacs. Used the colors Milled lavender, Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. Die cut them using the Lovely Lilacs dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Lovely Lilacs Card by Marieke Slaats (featuring Scalloped Tag Dies, Inside Greetings)

Out of white cardstock I cut the Scalloped Tag Circle Dies. Die cut an inner circle out of it which left me with a border. Added a black string of twine onto it. Adhered the stamped images behind it and added some foam tape.

Cut a white top-fold base card, splattered some black paint and adhered the tag on the base. Heat set the sentiment out of the Inside Greetings Congrats and cut it using a scissor. Finished the card by adding some different sizes of clear sequins.

Wonky Window Die Focused Cards with Gladys and Alma

Hello friends! Gladys here with a mini slimline using the Wonky Windows and Little Birdie stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Die Focused Card by Gladys Marcelino (featuring Little Birdie)

To start I used a mini slimline die to cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. I ink blended the background with a cloud stencil and salty ocean distress ink. Then I used the Wonky Windows die to cut the center of the panel. I also used the window die to cut from scraps of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended worn lipstick and scattered straw on the negative pieces.

Next I stamped and colored the images from Little Birdie using Copic markers. I cut them out using their coordinating dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Die Focused Card by Gladys Marcelino (featuring Little Birdie)

To assemble the card I used the mini slimline die to cut from white cardstock. I inlaid the pieces from the Wonky Windows with liquid glue. I used foam tape on the back of the cloud panel for dimension before mounting it onto the white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in the center window then adhered the images down. Finally I attached the panel onto a card base. That is all for me today until next time. Have a wonderful day!

------------------------------------------

Hi, today it's me, Alma. I'm back on the blog and today I want to show you a shaker card that you can easily design using the Wonky Windows Dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Wonky Window Die Focused Card by Alma Störk (featuring Froggy Friends, Rain or Shine)

First of all, I cut two rectangles of cardstock and punched one of them out with the Wonky Windows. Then I wiped the two cardstocks in the Distress Oxide colours Chipped Saphire, Blueprint Sketch, Broken China and Tumbled Glass and sprinkled them with water. I set white highlights with the gel pen so that the water structure gets even more depth.

Then I mixed the Jewels Sky Blue JewelsMagic Blue Jewels and Cornflower Blue Jewels and glued the two cardstock pieces together with the shaker elements and 3D tape.

After this I stamped the frogs and accessories from the
Froggy Friends stamp set, coloured them with Copics, and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. The water puddles, the ducks and the umbrella are from the Rain or Shine stamp set, which I also stamped out with the matching coordinating dies.

Now everything is glued together and the shaking can begin.

Kiddie Pool Cards with Isha and Kavya

Hello everyone! Isha here featuring the Kiddie Pool stamps and dies. The playful and happy kids remind me of the kids playing alongside the lakes, enjoying the sunset during summer days.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Kiddie Pool Cards by Isha Gupta (featuring Ocean View, Sealiously Sweet, Tropical Trees Backdrop Dies)

I started by die-cutting the sand and the rest of the background from white cardstock using the Tropical Trees Backdrop dies. Sponge vintage photo distress oxide ink for the sand. Flick some ink and some gold paint for texture. I used salty ocean, picket fence, wilted violet, ripe persimmon, scattered straw, salvaged patina and peacock feathers distress oxides to create the sky and the water.

Die-cut the clouds from the same die, sponge using peeled paint and mowed lawn oxide inks to create the bushes and adhere to the piece. Adhere this piece to a white card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Kiddie Pool Cards by Isha Gupta (featuring Ocean View, Sealiously Sweet, Tropical Trees Backdrop Dies)

Stamp the images, color using copic markers and die-cut using the coordinating dies:
Kids - Kiddie Pool Stamp and Dies
Crab, shell - Ocean View Stamp and Dies
Ball - Sealiously Sweet Stamp and Dies
Sentiment - Beach Buddies Stamp

Add details using white pen. Adhere the images to the card. Stamp the sentiment. Thank you for dropping by and have a nice day!

------------------------------------------------

Hi folks, Kavya here. I am back on the blog with another fun project! I love combining stamps and if you like too, this one is for you! The new Kiddie Pool stamps are just the perfect size to be combined with a bunch of other stamps. For this week, I decide to combine it with Sealiously Sweet stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Kiddie Pool Cards by Kavya (featuring Sealiously Sweet, Chloe Alphabet Dies)

I first started off by creating my background by ink blending blue inks and adding a strip of green cardstock at the bottom. I also added a fence from Spring Scene stamp set. Then, I stamped a bunch of images from Sealiously Sweet and Kiddie Pool stamp sets.

Later, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Sealiously Sweet stamp set and added die cut alphabets from Chloe Alphabet Dies

That’s it folks! I hope this project inspires you :) Happy Crafting!
