Comic Strip Everyday Dies Congrats On Your New Home Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with the versatile brand new dies from Sunny Studio, Comic Strip Everyday Dies. As it's name says, it literally looks like a comic strip which you can use anytime. You can use it portrait or landscape, the only limit is your imagination. Let's get started.

First, I cut all of the elements in the set and watercolored each piece with the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor pallete. I love the vibrant colors it gave me. I know that it's a little bit tricky with all those tiny pieces but here's the tips I can give you. Don't pop out all of the pieces as soon as you cut them. I find it easier to color them first. Despite the extra work, I really did enjoy putting all of the pieces together and building the little scenes within every square. 

To create the background, I used the same watercolor. It's so much fun! I used the sentiment from an older set, Happy Home Stamps, to complete my card. How do you like the watercolor look on this card? Another idea is to use solid color cardstocks or patterned paper for each element. I'd love to see how imaginative you could be.

Sliding Window Fall Themed What's Up Gnomie Card with Vanessa

Hi everyone! Vanessa here today with a card using the popular Sliding Window Dies. I love this die as much as everybody else obviously does! 

First, I inked a panel of white cardstock with green and blue inks to create my background and drew grass with Copics. Then I die-cut the sliding window and assembled it with a brown panel for the sliding part. After I had adhered the panel to my Kraft cardbase, I stamped all the cute images from Home Sweet Gnome, Happy Harvest and Barnyard Buddies onto white cardstock. I colored everything with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered them to the card.

For the inside, I die-cut the label from brown woodgrain patterned paper from the Amazing Argyle 6x6 pad, stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment and adhered it to the card. I didn't add adhesive to the top part of the label, so the little scene stands securely when its bottom edge is tucked behind it.

These little gnomies have stolen my heart! I can't stand those things in some gardens, but this set is just too adorable!

Fall Flicks Filmstrips Sunflower Autumn Blessings Card with Franci

Hi there, Franci here with you today to showcase the new Fall Flicks Filmstrips die set! I love that it's full of mini dies you can combine to create lovely dimensional pumpkins and sunflowers.

First, I created my card base out of some white cardstock and then I covered the front with this precious paper that I found in my stash. It's cream with lots of sparkly/bronze details and texture and I thought it would be the perfect background for my die cuts. I die cut the film strip out of this new brown patterned paper you can find in the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones 6x6 paper set and all the other elements out of white cardstock.

I colored all the die cuts with Distress inks (Spiced Marmalade, Walnut Stain and Shabby Shutters) and I glued them together to create all the little pumpkins and sunflowers. 

I adhered everything to my card base with foam tape and then I stamped my sentiment using the Happy Harvest set in a rich brown color. Finally, I added some sparkling sequins to finish my card.

Home Sweet Gnome Sliding Interactive Card with Juliana

Hello friends! It's Juliana Michaels with you to share a card I created using my new favorite interactive die ever! I've definitely fallen in love with the new Sliding Window die. I combined it with the Home Sweet Gnome stamp set to create a cute little scene and I can't wait to share it with you today.

To get started, I cut a piece of patterned paper from the Preppy Prints 6x6 paper pad using the Sliding Window die. I used Therm O Web Purple Tape to help hold the dies in place as I ran it through my die cutting machine. I then trimmed off the flap leaving about a 1/4” at the top.

Next, I die cut a piece of green dot patterned paper from the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones 6x6 paper pad using the Sliding Window die, but I did not bother with the half circle die. I then trimmed off the frame part of the window and adhered it to the little bit of flap I left on the striped paper. 

This allows you to use two different patterns of paper for your design and adds a nice bit of contrast and color depending on the color combination you use. Because I had already used a lot of color on the front of the card, I decided to use white cardstock for the inside.

After the window part was complete, I stamped and colored several of the images from the Home Sweet Gnome stamp set using Chameleon Pens. I then die cut them using the coordinating dies. Next, I went about creating a little scene on the front of the window and adhered the images with double sided foam tap for a bit of dimension. I then stamped the sentiments on the front of the card and on the inside of the card using black ink. To complete the card, I added a red ribbon bow to give the recipient something to pull on as they open the card.
