Devoted Doggies Birthday Wishes Card with Franci

Hello there! It's Franci here with you today with a colorful birthday card, full of super cute little puppies, using the new Devoted Doggies set.

Any other doggie lovers out there? After the Purrfect Birthday stamp set from the previous release, that was full of cute cats, Mendi drew lots and lots of new doggies!! I love both cats and dogs, but I have a lovely dog myself, so this is even more fun to use for me! There are 2 new sets featuring dogs: Devoted Doggies and Party Pups. For today's card I used both, but all the dogs on my card are from the Devoted Doggies set.

First, I created my card base out of some white cardstock and created this colorful rainbow inspired pattern on the front by sponging some Distress inks. I stamped all of my images, colored them with Copics, and die cut them with their coordinating dies. I stamped all of my sentiments onto my card with the same black ink used before and glued down all the elements with a combo of liquid glue and foam adhesive. Finally, I added some embellishments and some sparkle to finish up my card.

Happy Camper Ink Smooshed Background Happy Place Card with Juliana

Hello friends! It's Juliana Michaels here today to share a bit of happiness with a card I created using the new Happy Camper stamp set. The adorable little camper is sure to take you to your happy place!

I started this card by stamping the adorable camper from the the Happy Camper stamp set using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I then colored the image using Chameleon Pens and I die cut it using the coordinating dies.

Next, I created the background using an ink smooshing technique. To do this, I smooshed Distress Oxide Ink in Twisted Citron onto a craft mat and spritzed it with a bit of water. I then took an A2 size piece of white cardstock and smooshed it into the ink on the craft mat. I lifted it up and dried the ink with my heat gun. I then repeated the process once again. I also took a paint brush and flicked a few splatters of ink onto the paper as well. I then took the largest die from Fancy Frames Rectangle dies and die cut the ink smooshed paper.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the background with black ink. I then adhered the camper using double sided foam tape for bit of dimension. To finish off the card, I adhered a few sequins.

Background Basics Tone On Tone Stamping Fast Food Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I have a card to share with you all using the new Background Basics stamp set along with Fast Food Fun to create a friendship themed card. I was so inspired by Mendi to do a tone on tone look for the background set, that I just did a strip to ground my images. Then, I used the brand new patterned paper for my background, since I only just got these in the mail I just had to use them, but if you don't have the paper, there's a diagonal striped stamp you an use instead! 

To begin my card today, I first cut a strip of red cardstock and then pulled a darker colour of red ink from my stash to stamp the tone on tone effect. I used a long block and the gingham patterned stamp from the Background Basics stamp set and stamped it over the top. Once my strip was stamped, I set it off to the side and worked on my images. I stamped out all the images from Fast Food Fun onto a piece of white cardstock, then used my Copic Markers to colour them in. Once they were coloured, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. While I had my die cutting machine out, I used the new Fancy Frames Ovals Dies and cut the largest one out of some yellow cardstock. 

Now all my elements were ready to go, I cut down a piece of patterned paper from the new Striped Silly pad. I decided to go for a neutral grey as there was a lot of colour going on already. I then added foam tape to the backs of my frames and adhered them together onto the centre of my background. Next, I adhered the strip of tone on tone gingham over the frame as well. Lastly, I adhered my images in a large group into the middle of the frame also, to make it seem like a little party. For my sentiment I used the 'We Make A Great Combo' from Fast Food Fun and white heat embossed it on a thin strip of black cardstock. I then adhered that with more foam tape on the red gingham piece and my card was complete. 

I hope you enjoyed my card today, this Background Basics set is so much fun to use - even though I just used one strip here, they're super easy to line up and use for lots of different backgrounds. I'll be sure to use this again soon - because I love making my own designs of backgrounds so much and it's perfect if you don't have patterned paper either!
