Birthday Balloon Framed Background Birthday Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I'll be making a Birthday card using the Birthday Balloon stamp set along with the Fancy Frames Squares die set. It's a super simple card that can be easily recreated with different colour schemes.

To begin, I first went ahead and stamped out my balloons from the Birthday Balloon set with pink, orange and yellow inks. This is such a fun layering set and really makes the balloons look super realistic. Once they were stamped, I die cut them out using the coordinating dies. Next, I used another piece of white cardstock and cut out the largest Fancy Frames Square die out of it. I set them off to the side and moved onto my card base. I used some Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink to ink blend on the right hand side of the panel just to give the simple base a little extra. Then, I flicked a little water over top and dried it with a heat tool.I then adhered it down onto a white card base using foam tape for the outer square and flat adhesive for the inner square. Then I trimmed off the excess around the card base. 

Now that the frame was adhered to my base, I stamped the strings and bows onto the card base directly with black ink and then adhered the balloons with foam tape on the strings. For my sentiment, I cut two sizes of strips of gold and green cardstock, cut the ends at an angle and then stamped 'Hooray!' from Team Player onto the green strip. I then added foam tape to both, layered them up and adhered them onto my card base. To finish it up I tied some green twine around the sentiment to make it more grounded. 

That finished up my basic Birthday card for today, a super easy design to reproduce for all your Birthday card needs. Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll catch you all next time.

Rain Showers Valentine's Day Themed Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a Valentines card highlighting the brand new Rain Showers Stamps together with the older set, Rain or Shine Stamps. I personally love rainy days when the weather is a little bit damp and chilly, it's nice to stay at home on days like these. 

Speaking of Valentine's Day cards, I think it's okay to use colors other than pinks or reds. For examples, blue and purple like I did. First, I heat embossed the Rain Shower Stamps with clear embossing powder. After that, I blended some Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Seedless Preserves, Tumbled Glass) in gradation from the darkest to the lightest. And the resist gives a really cool effect on my background. Don't you think so?

I stamped the other images with Versafine black ink and watercolored them with Distress Markers. The yellow raincoat makes a great contrast with the rest of the card. I especially love the rainbow colors umbrella, super cute! Last step is to adhere it on top of purple polka dot patterned paper.

Cascading Hearts Love You A Waffle Card with Vanessa

Hi everybody! Vanessa here with a last Valentine's Day card using the beautiful Cascading Hearts Stamps and the Breakfast Puns set. 

First, I stamped the Cascading Hearts using soft coral ink, then I inked the top of the panel lightly with the same ink. Now I stamped the waffles onto the panel and onto a separate piece of cardstock, colored the extra images with Copics, fussy-cut them and adhered them to the card. 

After I had added the stamped and colored butter and the strawberry image, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of red cardstock and adhered it. Finally, I die-cut the red hearts using the Breakfast Puns dies and adhered them to the card.

I need to stop making cards with the Breakfast Puns set, it always makes me hungry! Thank you for visiting today!

Bold Balloons Birthday Balloon Bouquet Card with Franci

Hi there! Franci here with you today with a birthday themed card! Who doesn't love these balloons from the new Bold Balloons stamp set? The first time that I saw them I was thinking, "omg they are real.. for real!". Ha! The layering effect is amazing and they are super simple to center and align. 

For my card, I created a card base out of some white cardstock and rounded the top corners. I stamped all of the balloons and die cut them with their coordinating dies. I also freehand cut a cloudy shape out of some copy paper to create my own stencil for the sky. I sponged some distress ink to create my cloudy background and let it dry.

I stamped all of the balloons strings and glued all the balloons down with liquid glue and foam adhesive to give them even more dimension. I cut out a strip of white cardstock for the bottom of my card and die cut the little border at the top with one of the borders from the new Ric Rac Borders set. I stamped my sentiment with Versamark ink and embossed it in silver.

Finally, I glued my strip down with foam adhesive and stamped all of the little confetti with colorful inks under the balloons to give my card an even more festive look! Hope you like it! Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!
