Two Scoops Ice Cream Cone Trio Birthday Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I have a card featuring the Two Scoops layering stamp set. I love these layering sets - they're so fun and super easy to line up and create with.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Two Scooops Ice Cream Cone Trio Card by Eloise Blue

To begin my card today I went ahead and stamped out my ice creams. I used some Altenew Layering Inks to do my stamping of the layers - since they come in sets of colours that layer well together, which is super helpful. Once I stamped down all my ice creams, I also did the cones in some orange-y colours. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out.

For my background, I ink blended some Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed onto some watercolour paper lightly, then blended it out with some water. Once I was happy with the outcome I heat dried it with my heat tool. I went ahead and used a rounded rectangle die to die cut my water-coloured piece and then used some green cardstock and the Stitched Scallop dies to cut down a small strip of scallops to adhere onto the background. I also ran that piece back through with the rounded rectangle die so it would have the stitching on the sides, too.

I adhered the scallop strip and background together and then stamped the sentiment 'Have A Sweet Day' in black ink onto my background from the Perfect Popsicles stamp set. I then tied some hemp cord in a bow around the top of the scalloped piece. I adhered down my ice creams with some foam tape on top of my panel also.

To finish up my card I adhered down a piece of grey cardstock to my card base, then added fun foam onto the back of my panel and adhered that down to my card base too. For a last finishing touch I added some Wink of Stella in the clear onto the top of my ice creams and that finished up my card for this week.

I hope you enjoyed my card and got inspired and I'll catch you all next week!

Orders Placed May 22 ~ 31 Will Have a Shipping Delay

Hi there!  It's Mendi here popping in with a little note to let you know that I will be out of the office May 22nd through May 31st to celebrate a special milestone anniversary with my husband (our first time away without kids in over 16 years). Yay!  I'm more than a little excited.

Sadly this means all orders placed during that time will be held and mailed out promptly on my return on June 1st.

I wanted to make sure to let you know with a little advance warning in case you are needing something to be mailed out this week before my absence.  ;)

So sorry for the inconvenience...

Thanks for being awesome and I hope you all have an extra happy week!  :)

Oceans Of Joy Birthday Slider Card with Lexa

Hello crafty friends! Lexa here today with a fun slider card featuring Oceans Of Joy stamp set and the coordinating dies. The sweet adorable whale from this set is swimming around the school of fish. To create an underwater scene using this stamp set sounded so fun to me.

I started my card by blending some blue Distress Inks for my background. I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire in my ombre technique. We know that it gets darker depending how deep into the ocean you go. But the deepest ocean here is not scary at all, as you can find an adorable little crab and some starfishes too.

I combined the Ocean Of Joy stamps with the Magical Mermaids stamps to complete my scene with some corals and sea plants. I stamped all of my images with black Versafine ink and watercolored them all with Distress Markers. I love all the sea creatures to bits, as each of them are so cute and adorable with the smiley faces.

I love to add some details to my cards, such as glitters and glossy accent to add some dimensions. Some pretty sequins complete my card as the bubbles in this scene.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I really hope you like today's inspiration and can't wait to see what more you can do with these stamp sets. I hope you all have an amazing day!

A Bird's Life Rainbow Birdies Happy Day Card with Vanessa

Hello everybody, it's Vanessa here today with a card full of cute birdies from A Bird's LifeThe set is so charming, I am in love with the adorable birds! So I wanted to put a lot of them onto today's card.

Sunny Studio Stamps: A Bird's Life Rainbow Birdies Happy Day Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I started with a panel of watercolor paper that I had trimmed slightly smaller than my green card base and masked off a strip. Now I applied various Distress Inks with an ink blending tool and flicked tiny water droplets off a brush to the inked area. Then I removed the mask, stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel to the card.

Next, I stamped all the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut them with the matching dies. I adhered everything to the card, using foam tape with some images, and finished the card off with matching sequins.

I hope today's card put a smile on your face! This cute stamp set is a must-have, don't you think? Thank you for visiting!
