Sending A Big Hug In A Mug Card with Emily
I'm so excited to share this card using Mug Hugs! I know a lot of you are coffee lovers but this set is for everyone who loves hot beverages of any kind. There's a mug of cocoa and a takeout cup, which could be tea! London Fog Lattes are one of my favourite teas to get when I'm at my local coffee shop.
I love that there are three beverage options, sweet treats and several awesome sentiments in this set for endless possibilities! I heat embossed and watercoloured all of the images using distress inks. I added a poinsettia from Christmas Icons to decorate the takeout cup.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Holiday Style Stamped Bough Background with Eloise
Hi everyone! Eloise here and today I'm here to show you my card using the Holiday Style stamp set. This is probably my personal favourite from the release. I love the big bough image along with the ornament stamps. Did I mention they're layering stamps too?! Absolutely amazing. They are so super fun and easy to layer up to create a fun dimensional ornament. The sentiments are super great too! I love the mix of fonts.
Now that the background was blended, I stamped out the sentiment with some black ink on top of the green stamped piece and then added a sheet of fun foam behind it and added it to the middle of my card, lining it up so it looked like it was continuous. For the last bit of my card I wanted to add a pop of colour. I took the layering bow from the set and grabbed three redish inks and stamped them on top of each other. This was so easy to line up and it looks amazing! I grabbed some twine and added a double bow behind the stamped bow and adhered them down to my card. To finish it up I grabbed my Wink of Stella in the clear and added it onto the bow, the word Christmas and a little to the green stamped boughs.
I hope you enjoyed my card today and got inspired. Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll come back the rest of the week to check out some more projects!

To begin my card today I started off with creating my background. I was originally going to stamp just one layer of the bough image, but instead I decided to stamp it on two pieces and layer it up. To make the bough image line up on the piece that's popped up and the piece on the card base I used my MISTI, just to make it easier on myself. You could try doing this just by hand with acrylic blocks and layering the pieces on top of each other (one full background and one die cut piece) and then stamping on top to get the image stamped in the same spot on both pieces easier, but I have a MISTI and voted doing it this way round this time. So, to do my stamping I first put in my full sized piece of cardstock and then layered my smaller die cut piece over top and then marked on the grid paper inside my MISTI where that die cut piece needed to be in the centre so when I went to line it up next time, it could be in the same position. I hope this makes sense. So now that I knew where my paper had to be placed I could begin stamping.
For the large background piece I stamped down my images with Versamark ink and clear heat embossed them after every time I stamped down one, just so it didn't dry on me. For my smaller die cut piece, I used various green inks to create and ombre effect and because I used my MISTI, my stamp stayed in the same spot and I could ink up one colour at a time and just wipe off a little to make it blend together nicely. This also benefitted me for stamping the stamp in the same spot on both pieces too. Once all my stamping was done I could ink blend the background. I used two Distress Inks - Blueprint Sketch and Tumbled glass and created an ombre background too, fading into the middle where the other piece was going to be layered on top and because I clear heat embossed the boughs to begin with, they resisted the ink and remained white.

Holiday Cards with Guest Designer Anita Madden
I'm pleased to welcome the talented Miss Anita Madden to the blog today. She always inspires me each time she creates with our stamps and today is no different. Take it away Anita... ;)
Hello! I’m so excited to be guest designing for
Sunny Studio today. I adore these new
stamp sets by Mendi and I know I’m going to be using them a lot to make
Christmas cards this year!
This
card features the Gleeful Reindeer stamps.
I colored the reindeer, trees, and gifts with copics and diecut them
with the coordinating dies. I used
distress ink to watercolor the sky. I
used one of the snowflakes from the stamp set with embossing powder to make the
white snowflakes. I added some snowy
hills to the scene and adhered all the images.
I cut a frame from white cardstock and added acetate and sequins to make
a fun shaker card.
Once
again I used the Gleeful Reindeer stamps and dies to make this card. I colored the reindeer and tree with copics
and then I applied Glossy Accents to the reindeer’s nose and hooves. I added some ribbon and twine to a tag that I
cut with the Tag Topper Dies – Traditional.
I added a few sequins to the tag to give it a little sparkle.
I
used the Mug Hugs stamps and dies for this card. I decided to make my own background for this
card. I heat embossed the sentiment and
hearts using white embossing powder. I
diecut the cup and paper-pieced the kraft band on the cup. I colored all the hearts with a red colored
pencil and wrapped some baker’s twine around the top of the card. I used foam tape to “pop up” the cup on a
circle of vellum.
I used the Mug Hugs stamps and dies to make
this Christmas card in nontraditional colors.
I used distress ink to watercolor the soft background, and then added
some designer paper and gold glitter paper to the card base. I colored the images with Copics and used the
coordinating dies to die-cut them. I
added a few gold sequins to finish my card.
Thank you Anita for sharing your gorgeous cards with us today. I love them all!

Bundled Up Penguins Parade Card by Lexa
Hi everyone! Lexa here today with my adorable penguins parade using the Bundled Up stamp set. This set is a must have in my list, you know why? Just because it's so much fun to play dress up with these penguins. I'm so in love with this set. <3
I started my card with a piece of 4" x 5.25" smooth white cardstock and clear embossed LOTS of snowflakes in various sizes to create my background. Then I blend Milled Lavender and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks which turns out so pretty..love love! I also added some glitter along the bottom as snow for the penguins to stand upon, using both silver and snowflakes Stickles. I stamped my three penguins and all the accessories on a piece of watercolor paper and colored them with Distress Markers. I fussy cut all of the pieces, it took a while but at then the most fun part began....mix and match all them together. Yay!
I made all of them standing there while holding a banner with a cute sentiment from the new release, Gleeful Reindeer stamp set. I'm truly happy with the fonts, you can call me crazy, but I always have 'this feeling' with fonts. If you know what I'm saying. Lol. Last but not least, I add some googly eyes for them- for extra cuteness.
Here's a close up look of my card, aren't they the cutest?? That's all for today, I really hope you like my card as much as I do. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have an amazing Friday!

Mug Hugs We Go Together Hot Cocoa Card with Vanessa
Hi everybody! Vanessa here with a card using the new amazing Winter release! The temperatures dropped immensely in my part of the world and I was in the mood for a hot beverage. So I inked up the cute Mug Hugs set for my card!
I started with a panel of patterned paper and inked the edges to distress them. Then I stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel to a Kraft card base. I stamped and colored the mug and the hearts and die-cut or fussy-cut the images. I thought it would be fun to have a smiling mug, so I added the face from the Fresh & Fruity set. Then I adhered the images to the card with foam tape. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the second part of the sentiment onto a strip of Kraft cardstock and adhered it.
The new sets are perfect for this season! Can't wait to ink up the rest of the stamps! Thanks for stopping by today! See you next week!
