Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this shaker card featuring the Loopy Rectangle Frame dies.
I started by die-cutting the Loopy Rectangle Frame right in the center of my card base, creating a fun focal point. Next, I blended blue tones into the background to give the card a beautiful ocean feel, and added a piece of acetate behind the opening.
After that, I die-cut the Loopy
shape again, this time from holographic paper, and adhered it on top of the
acetate for a magical shimmer effect. At the bottom of the card, I created an
underwater scene using the Tropical Scenes stamp set, bringing the ocean
floor to life.
To finish the design, I stamped adorable mermaids and sea critters on the card using the Magical Mermaids stamp set. The little sea critters were placed inside the shaker element, while the mermaids were added to the front of the card. While the Magical Mermaids stamps have been retired, you can achieve a similar card using the newer Mermaid Kisses Stamps and Dies.
Card done, ready to send joy! Thanks for joining me, and see you next week.
