Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this cookie card.
For this card, I started by die-cutting a card base from Classic Gingham patterned paper, which gives it a warm and cozy look. In the center, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock and added a beautiful gold frame using Loopy Rectangle Frame dies.
Then it was time to “bake some
cookies”! I used the Baked with Love stamp
set and heat embossed the cookie shapes with white embossing powder on light
brown paper. After that, I die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped and die-cut the piping bag, which I later placed in the
panda’s hand for a fun detail.
To make the ‘cookies’ look like
real cookies, I softly blended brown ink around the edges of the cookies and
adhered them to the card. Next, I stamped the pandas and the sentiment from
the Panda Party stamp set and colored them with my Ohuhu markers.
Finally, I arranged everything on
the card to create a birthday scene that looks almost good enough to eat!
Card done, ready to send joy! Thanks for joining me, and see you in my next blog!
