Happy Friday friends, this is Nicky with you today on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog and I have a CAS card to share with you today using the adorable Foxy Friends stamp set. Please continue reading for all the details.
I took a panel of sturdy white cardstock with A2 dimensions and I die cut the first panel using the largest die from the Limitless Labels 1 Dies. I then used the next size down in the set to die cut the centre cut that I'd produced the first time.
With the largest/outermost panel I backed it with 2 layers of dimensional foam tape and adhered this to my already prepared card base. With the next size down die cut, I added just 1 layer of dimensional tape and nestled it inside the opening and stuck it down.
With the smallest die cut piece which would form the focal point, I ink blended with Spun Sugar and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks and I then splattered it with water to distress it a little before adding glue and adhering it to the card directly. The effect is of a little bit of a tunnel.
I stamped the images from Foxy Friends using black ink and I coloured with the following Copic markers:
Fox - E99, E13, E11, C3, C1, C00
Wagon - E44, E41, C1, W4
Birds - BG49, BG15, BG11
Potted Tulips - C3, C1, C00, G19, G07,
R22, R20
Blushes - R22, R21, R00
Highlights were added with a white gel pen and then I die cut the images using the coordinating die set. The images were then backed with foam tape and added to the ink blended background.
To complete the card I added shadows under the different elements and dotted in some interest and I stamped the sentiment on the smallest size label from the Limitless Labels Die Set and added that along with a few sparkling clear sequins.
I do hope you enjoyed my card today and are inspired to create your own. I'll be back next Friday with something new to share, have a great weekend.
