Hi everyone! Leanne here. It's usually this time during the winter months that I start to get really anxious for spring. I just couldn't resist brightening my spirits and craft desk with creating a card with a pretty spring color palette.
I have used a mix of
Sunny Studio products for this design including the new Basic Backgrounds 2 stamps. Instead of using the grid
pattern stamp to create a background, I have used it to give the envelope a
subtle pattern. After die cutting the envelope, I stamped the pattern before
folding and adhering the bottom & sides.
Here are the additional stamps and dies I've used to create this card:
Rounded Rectangle Mat dies (I used the largest in the
set)
Gift Card Envelope dies (for the envelope and hearts)
Lovely Lilacs stamps & coordinating
dies
Big Bunny stamps & coordinating
dies (for the greeting)
To stamp the lilacs, their foliage, and the greeting, I used some Pink Fresh Studio inks. The pink shades are Ballet Slipper, Sparkling Rose, & Bubble Gum. The green shades are Fresh Pear, Grassy Knoll, & Key Lime.
