Hello everybody! Vanessa here with my Harvest Happiness card. We do not celebrate Thanksgiving here in Germany, so I chose to create a more neutral autumn card. The colors of fall make me so happy!
First, I trimmed a piece of watercolor paper slightly smaller than my Kraft card base and stamped/heat-embossed the small leaves from the set with white embossing powder. Then I applied watercolors around the embossed images and added droplets of color around them. After it was dried, I adhered the panel to the card. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of purple cardstock and adhered it. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the pumpkins onto watercolor paper, colored them with watercolors, fussy-cut them and adhered them with foam tape. To finish the card off, I added matching sequins.
Autumn is in full swing here and I am happy the pumpkin season has started! Nothing like a good Pumpkin Risotto :) What's your favorite pumpkin recipe?
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Vanessa

I just love a plain pumpkin pie with a little whipped
ReplyDeletecream on it. Going to have one soon - it's the season.
Love the card. The way the leaves trail down to the
pumpkin and the colors are wonderful.
thanks for sharing.
I love this design. The colors are bright and unexpected. The way the leaves arc across the card gives a feeling of movement as if they are blowing down from the trees on an autumn breeze. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, I'm going to have to remember the white embossed/water color pumpkins, they are just gorgeous, all your little details make this a stunning card!
