Inside Greetings Friends Card with Tina M

Hi there! Tina M here sharing a friendship card using the new Inside Greetings Friends stamps paired with the Penguin Pair Stamps and the Wolly Friends Stamp sets!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Inside Greetings Friends & Penguin Pair Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Wooly Friends, Slimline Nature Border Dies)

I started off by stamping two cute penguins, two bows and six hearts from the Penguin Pair stamp set, two of the fence and six of the flowers from the Wolly Friends Stamps set on alcohol ink friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with my Copic Markers, see list below.

Copic colors used:
Penguins: N3/5/6/8, C0/1, R00/30/32, YR21/24/27
Bows: R22/24/27 and RV52/55, V000
Hearts: R22/24/27
Fence: RV52/55, V000
Flowers: R22/24

When finished the coloring I ran the images through my die cutting machine using the coordinating Penguin Pair dies and the Wolly Friends diesNext, I ink blended a scrap piece of card stock for the grass and used the grass die from the Slimline Nature Borders Dies set, creating two thin strips of grass to the length of 3,75 inches.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Inside Greetings Friends & Penguin Pair Card by Tina Magnusson (featuring Wooly Friends, Slimline Nature Border Dies)

For my card I used an A2 size card base, I then trimmed a piece of the darker pink patterned paper from the Classic Sunburst paper pack to 5,5 x 4,25 inches. For this card I chose the grid pattern up. Next, I adhered the pink panel to the card base using double sided tape. Next, I trimmed a piece of white card stock 5 x 3,75 inches. Using a blending brush, I colored the panel with a light turquoise ink to create my sky.

Now to assemble the scenes! As I wanted to make two separate scenes on my card, I glued one of the fences at 2,5 inches, the center of the sky-colored panel, (portrait orientation), next I glued the strip of grass to the bottom of the fence. I then glued the other fence and the other strip of grass to the bottom of the panel.

Before adding any more die cut elements I stamped the sentiments from the Inside Greetings Friends stampsNext, I added foam dots to back of the penguins for dimension and adhered them to the card! I then glued the bows to their heads, the flowers on the grass and finished off with the hearts!

As I love adding black frames to most of my cards, I trimmed a piece of black card stock to
5,1/8 x 3,7/8 inches for a thin frame to adhere behind the scenes panel!
Lastly, I adhered the scene panel with the black frame to the card base using double sided tape!

Thank you for stopping by! Wishing you all a happy and colorful day!

Loopy Rectangle Frame Die Focused Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I have a fun card featuring the new Loopy Rectangle Frames. The loopy frame reminded me of the classic phone cord and matched perfectly with the Vintage Valentine set. I thought it would be fun to create a trifold card for this Holiday Hugs bear say Hello to a Big Bunny friend. So, let’s get started.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Loopy Rectangle Frame Die Focused Friendship Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Vintage Valentine, Big Bunny, Holiday Hugs, Speech Bubbles Extras Dies, Sydney Alphabet Dies)

I stamped the bear from the Holiday Hugs Stamp, bunny from the Big Bunny Stamp and phones from the Vintage Valentine Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the Holiday Hugs DiesBig Bunny Dies and Vintage Valentine Dies to die cut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Bear: E50/51/53/33, R000/20, W1/5/7
Scarf: R14/24/27, C00/0/1, B000/00/02
Bunny: C00/0/1/3, R000/20
Phone: R14/24/27, C0/1

I used the Loopy Rectangle Frame Dies to die cut two small loopy frames and one large label frame out of red and white cardstock. I saved the white frames for another project and only used the center panels as a background for this card. I also used the same Loopy Rectangle Frame die to trim the bottom edge of the bear and bunny images.

For the sentiments, I used the new Speech Bubbles Extras Dies to die cut a speech bubble out of blue cardstock. I stamped the “Just ringing to say” sentiment from the Vintage Valentine Stamp set onto the speech bubble with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added the dots with a pen. Next, I used the new Sydney Alphabet Dies to die cut the HELLO twice out of red cardstock. I layered and adhered them to each other and then onto the white label die cut with liquid glue.

For the Z-fold trifold card base, I used two side-folding A2 card bases. I placed one with the inside facing downward (like a mountain) and one with the inside facing upward (like a valley) and adhered them to each other. I adhered a blue and a pink piece of cardstock (4” x 5.25”) to each of the end panels.

I adhered used foam tape to adhere the panel and speech bubble to the front blue panel for some dimension. I used liquid glue to adhere the HELLO label to the center panel and the bunny to the last pink panel for a slimmer profile.

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. For more info and ideas, be sure to visit the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.

Guest Designer Spotlight: Quill Cuties Cards with Aiysha Chander

Hello everyone! I'm Aiysha, so excited to be guest designing for Sunny Studio Stamps today, featuring two cards created with the Quill Cuties stamp set. This set is full of charm and personality, making it perfect for cheerful greetings and just-because cards. I created two designs with very different moods to show how easily these sweet hedgehogs adapt to any style.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Quill Cuties Card by Aiysha Chander (featuring Icing Rectangle Frame Dies)

For the first card, I created a soft, Valentine-inspired look. The Quill Cuties were stamped with memento black ink and colored in browns with Copic markers. I then layered the images on an ink-blended background to match the pink Valentine theme.

Two Quill Cuties take center stage, colored in cozy browns and soft pinks with a small pop of aqua for contrast. The sentiment was heat embossed in white, and the images were cut using coordinating Quill Cuties dies.

A scalloped frame from the Icing Rectangle Frames set gently anchors the design, while a few scattered hearts and a light splatter of white and gold add a whimsical finish.

The second card leans into a cozy, rustic feel. I used the Sunny Studio Woodgrain Embossing Folder on a kraft cardstock to create a warm textured base. Stamped several Quill Cuties on kraft cardstock to complement the kraft tones. They were then colored in earthy tones and arranged in a cheerful cluster to create a little scene.

To finish, I added the white heat embossed the sentiment on a contrasting brown strip with a red accent, and framed the design using a scalloped frame from the Icing Rectangle Frame set, finally scatter hearts to bring everything together.

For my third card, the adorable cutie soaking in a bathtub was too hard to resist, and it felt perfect for a fun bubble-bath–themed shaker card.

I stamped and colored these Cuties with Copic-friendly ink and created a soft pastel ink-blended background and built it up by die-cutting multiple layers using Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies to add depth. The shaker is filled with clear and blue sequins, chosen to mimic bubbly bath foam floating around the scene.

The sentiment "Quill you be mine?" adds a sweet finishing touch, making this card ideal for a love-themed occasion. Cute, playful, and full of movement—this little shaker card was such a joy to create.

Thank you so much for having me today! I hope these cards inspire you to create and send a few hedge hugs of your own.

Vintage Valentine Card with Janneke

Hello crafty friends, Janneke here. Today I’m sharing this tropical Valentine card featuring the new Vintage Valentine stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Vintage Valentine & Silly Sloths Valentine's Day Card by Janneke Peters (featuring Tropical Scenes)

For the background, I ink blended a bright green ground and a blue sky to set the scene. Next, I stamped the typewriter and a few envelopes with little notes from the Vintage Valentine stamp set and added the sentiments on it.

I wanted to give the card a fun tropical twist, so I created a playful scene using the cute sloths from the Silly Sloths stamp set. To bring in lots of lush greenery, I added plants and leaves from the Tropical Scenes and Fabulous Flamingos stamp sets.

As a finishing touch, I included the colorful parrots from the Tiki Time stamp set and added some highlights with a white gel pen. I love how all these elements come together to create a cheerful tropical Valentine card.

Card done, ready to send joy! Thanks for joining me, and see you next week.

Penguin Pair Card with Yan

Hello everyone! It’s Yan here! I’m so happy to be back on the blog today to share this new card I made with the Penguin Pair Stamp Set from Sunny Studio’s Spring New Release! These adorable little penguins instantly melted my heart — they’re perfect for creating a cozy and cheerful winter scene!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Penguin Pair Friendship Card by Yan X DIY (featuring Inside Greetings Friends)

First, I stamped the adorable penguin on gray cardstock using white pigment ink. Then, I colored them with Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils and added some tiny hearts and falling snow for a touch of sweetness. Finally, I stamped the sentiment using the Inside Greetings Friends Stamp to complete the card.
