Crisp Apples Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and today we are creating a fun card with the versatile Build-a-Bowl dies. You can fill this bowl with lots of fruits, I opted for some yummy Crisp Apples!

Instead of a normal rectangle card base, I decided to round the corners and add a fun stripe pattern (stencil from my stash and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide).

I love adding lots of layers to my card, so next I cut a panel from a blue purple paper with one of the Rounded Rectangle Mat dies. I dry embossed this piece with the Dotted Diamond Portrait die. After cutting a smaller white piece of card stock with one of the Stitched Arch dies, I used the Woodgrain embossing folder for extra texture.

Then it was time for my centerpiece, which consists of the pretty bowl (Build-a-Bowl dies) cut from a purple gingham paper (Gingham Pastels) and embellished with a purple border (Ribbon and Lace Borders).

I cut a bunch of apples and leaves (Crisp Apples) from white card stock. I love that you get two sizes and colored them with Distress Oxide Abandoned Coral, Saltwater Taffy, Peacock Feathers and Scorched Timber.

My combined sentiment was taken from the Punny Apple Greetings set and stamped onto a white Brilliant Banner 4 with Versafine Onyx Black ink and a red ink from y stash. I stacked this banner on top of a purple one. A few Champagne Clear jewels were added for that extra sparkle.

Fall Scenes Birthday Card with Amanda

Hey crafty friends, Amanda here! I am here to say HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY, Sunny Studio Stamps!  I made a card just for YOU! Congratulations on 10 years of adorable critters, fun scenes and creative designs! I made this card using a mix of lots of adorable stamps from Sunny Studio! So grab your supplies and let’s make a birthday card together!

First, I stamped on of the Fall Scenes Stamps onto a piece of A2 white cardstock. Then, I colored the entire background scene with Copic markers.  

Then, I stamped the mice and wagon from the Harvest Mice Stamps. The balloons are from the Heart Bouquet Stamps. The gifts, wood, and husky are from the Truckloads of Love Stamps. The party hats and sentiment are from the Party Pets Stamps. SO MANY FUN images, huh? So, once I got all of those stamped out, I colored them in with Copic markers. I also added a few little highlights and dots with a white Gelly Roll pen. Then, I die cut all the images out with their coordinating die sets.

Then, I arranged them on my card front to make a cute little scene! I put 3D foam squares behind all the images and then adhered them to the card panel. I added 3 of the Party Confetti, adhering them with liquid glue. Finally, I stamped some of the confetti from the Party Pets stamps in the sky with Catherine Pooler Limoncello ink!

Special Day & Birthday Cat Cards with Mendi

Hello and welcome! We are celebrating Sunny Studio's 10th Birthday all this week and this is Mendi here today, popping in to share some birthday cards for cat lovers, combining our Birthday Cat Stamps and Special Day Stamps.

For my first card of the day, I colored the three-tiered cake and candles from our Special Day Stamps and inserted the two peeking kitties over the hearts on the cake from our Birthday Cat Stamps. I added three more kitties wearing party hats and peeking inside the gift, and then, to even out the scene on the right, I added an oversized gift from our Holiday Hugs Stamps. For my card background, I added rainbow-striped strips of patterned paper from the Rainbow Bright Paper pad along the top and bottom of my card. Then, I layered them with a white cardstock panel in the center, adding stitching along the edges with the Ribbon & Lace Border Dies.

For my second card, I stamped and colored rows of numbered candles along both the top and bottom of my card from the Special Day Stamps. I stamped them randomly but then colored them in rainbow order. I then layered a piece of turquoise blue cardstock in the center, adding stitching along the top and bottom using the stitched edge from the Ribbon & Lace Border Dies. For my focal point, I added three of the kitty cupcakes from the Birthday Cat Stamps, coloring the wrappers in the same rainbow I used for the candles and popping them up with foam tape. Lastly, I stamped a punny greeting from the set using Versafine Onyx Black Ink and added white highlights to all my images using a white gel pen.

Fabulous Flamingos Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a flamazing birthday card to share with you featuring the beautiful flamingos from the Fabulous Flamingos set.

I stamped the flamingos and leaves from the Fabulous Flamingos Stamp, the balloon and hat from the Party Pets Stamp and present from the Foxy Friends Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the coordinating Fabulous Flamingos Dies, Party Pets Dies and Foxy Friends Dies to die cut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen. 

COPIC COLORS:
Flamingos: RV000/00/02/04/06, C1, Y13/15
Green: YG00/01/03/25
Teal: BG10/53/45

For the background, I took another piece of Neenah white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and die cut a window using the second largest die from the Stitched Semi-Circle Dies. I lightly ink blended the semi-circle with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I used the panel with the window as a guide to adhere the semi-circle to the front of a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5"). 

For the sentiment, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Party Pets Stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of white cardstock. I used the Party Pets Dies to die cut it out. The sub-sentiment was a combo of the "to one" and "friend" from the Foxy Friends Stamp set with the "flamazing" from the Fabulous Flamingos Stamp set stamped directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I added foam tape to the back of the panel with the window and adhered it to the front of the card base as well. The Happy Birthday sentiment and colored images were adhered with a combo of liquid adhesive and foam tape. I finished the card with a few sequins from the Majestic Clear Confetti.
