Merry Mocha Card with Marine

Hey crafty friends, Marine here with you today! I'm thrilled to be back on the blog with this lovely autumn card featuring some warm and delicious treats from different sets (listed down below), as well as four cheeky kitties from Birthday Cat. Once again, I stenciled my background, stamped and colored my images on kraft cardstock to emphasize the whole autumn vibe of the scene I had in mind. I really love how it turned out, and hope you like it, too!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Merry Mocha Fall Themed Card by Marine Simon (featuring Birthday Cat, Mug Hugs, Beautiful Autumn, Buffalo Plaid Dies, Straight Stripes Stencil)

I started off by stamping my images on kraft cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. I cut them all using the matching dies, and colored everything using my Ohuhu markers and my Graph'it brush markers. For the Merry Mocha cup, I masked the snowflake, stamped the cup, and then stamped the acorn on the cup to turn my Merry Mocha winter cup into an autumn cup.

Here is a detailed list of the stamp sets I used: • Merry Mocha - cup (with the acorn) • Mug Hugs - other cups, candy cane, heart • Beautiful Autumn - acorns, leaves • Bountiful Autumn & Fall Friends - pumpkins • Cruisin' Cuisine - donut • Birthday Cat - cats • Happy Harvest - sunflowers.

Next I cut a 5,5 x 4,25 inches kraft panel, and added a plaid texture using the Buffalo Plaid Straight die. And I used the Straight Stripes stencil along with vintage photo and ground espresso oxide inks to color my panel. I white heat embossed "Wishing you a beautiful autumn season" from Beautiful Autumn at the top of my panel, and then attached all my images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares.

As always, I finished my card by adding highlights and details to the images using a white gel pen, and that's it! Thanks so much for stopping by, and see you next time!

Snowmen in Sweaters Card with Tina

Hi crafty friends, Tina here and today we are making a festive card featuring the fun Snowmen in Sweaters and their matching dies. In this set you get six cuties, and they all wear the most adorable cozy outfits!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Snowmen in Sweaters Holiday Card by Tina Henkens (featuring Stitched Arch Dies)

I love to make shaped cards and for these snowmen a globe shape is perfect. This can be achieved easily by using the largest of the Stitched Arched dies and folding a thick piece of white card base in two. Place the die slightly higher than the fold of the paper so you will not cut the top part. When you run this sandwich through your die cutting machine you will end up with the perfect arched base.

Next, I cut two more white panels with the same die. One of them got inked with a cloud stencil and Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo, the other one was used to create a snow bank. I adhered them both to my shaped card base with liquid glue and foam tape for the snowy piece.

After stamping my cute snowmen (Snowmen in Sweaters) and cutting them with the matching dies, I colored them using pink, red and green Copic colors. Additionally, I added 4 of the pine trees that also come in the set. I used a white gel pen to add details and snowflakes to the images. Next, I glued the trees in place, tucking them in behind the snowbank.

Then it was time to add the darling snowmen to the scene. I left enough room at the top of my card to add the beautiful ‘Warm Winter Wishes’ sentiment from the Snowmen in Sweaters. I love that it also comes with a matching die. I stamped the words in a red ink from my stash which would go well with the overall color palette of the card. The sentiment was popped up with foam tape for extra dimension. I added some transparent Stickles glitter glue to the trees, pompoms, and snow, creating a frosty look.

Thank you for visiting the blog and happy crafting with these fun products!

Buffalo Plaid Diagonal Die Focused Card with Amanda

Hey there, crafty friends! It's Amanda back with another Halloween card to share with you! Are you ready for Halloween?! It's hard to believe it's so close! Keep scrolling and make this card with me!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Buffalo Plaid Die Focused Halloween Card by Amanda Fitterer (featuring Too Cute To Spook, Pumpkin Patch Dies, Diagonal & Straight Stripes Stencils)

For the background, I trimmed 2 pieces of white cardstock to 4"x5.25. I ran both of them through my die cutting machine with the Buffalo Plaid Diagonal Die. I ink blended the bottom portion of one with Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink, concentrating the most ink on the outside and bottom portions.

With the other piece, I trimmed off the bottom of it, and then used the Diagonal & Straight Stripes Stencils to ink blend Catherine Pooler's Sixteen Candles, Pixie Dust, Serenade, and Drive-In inks to create this fun purple background. Again, I concentrated the darker inks on the edges and top of the panel. This gives a vignette effect that really pulls your focus to the center of the card! I splattered white paint on the "ground" panel and black paint on the purple panel. I glued both panels together with liquid glue. Then, I glued them to an A2 card base.

Next, I grabbed the oh-so-versatile Pumpkin Patch Dies and created 3 little pumpkins for my cute Halloween critters. I colored them with Copic markers and added highlights with a white Gelly Roll pen.

Once I had pumpkins all set, I stamped and colored my costumed critters from the Too Cute To Spook Stamps. I had so much fun coloring these little guys with Copic markers! I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also stamped my Happy Halloween sentiment and used scissors to cut it out.

I adhered all my little elements to my card using 3D foam squares. I also added some fun little sequins and sparkles for some more excitement.

Thanks for stopping by the Sunny Studio Stamps Blog today! Hope you find some time to get crafty this week!

Roly Poly Penguins Card with Leanne

Hello everyone! Leanne here and I'm excited to start sharing some winter holiday cards made with all the fun new sets from the latest release. Today's card features the adorable images from Roly Poly Penguins.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Roly Poly Penguins Card by Leanne West (featuring Scalloped Square Dies, Stitched Square Dies, Holiday Hugs, Snowflake Circle Frame Dies)

Here are the Sunny Studio products you'll need to recreate this card:

This card is a very easy to create so I won't go into too much detail about the process.  But below are some of the specifics if you want to recreate this design.

Copics used for coloring the Penguins: black-N2,N4,N6; shading on white areas-N0,N2; orange-YR12, YR16; green-G20, G21,G24; pink-R80, R81, R85; blue violet-BV60, BV63; rosy cheeks-R00, R30

The finished card measures 5 inches square. The background is an ink blended combo of Catherine Pooler Hot Tub & Cummerbund inks. I love the soft aqua color this combo creates. Since this is a winter scene, I added lots of splatters with the diluted aqua ink and white paint.

After I had the penguins and greeting adhered to the card, I filled in the extra space around the greeting with the little snowflakes. The snowflakes were die cut from plain white card stock and then I applied Stickles glitter glue to each to give them lots of sparkle.

Buffalo Plaid Die Focused Card with Hanh

Hello Crafty Friends! This is Hanh. I am so excited to share this fun Christmas card that I made featuring the Buffalo Plaid Diagonal Die and the Roly Poly Penguins set. I am so in love with these adorable penguins!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Buffalo Plaid Die Focused Holiday Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Roly Poly Penguins, Basic Mini Shape Dies)

I wanted them to be the center of attention on my card but I wanted to add just a bit of interest to the background. The Buffalo Plaid Dies were just perfect to add a hint of subtle texture. There are two dies available: Buffalo Plaid Straight Die and Buffalo Plaid Diagonal Die. They can both be used as a stand alone element as I have used here today. Or they can be inked up with the Diagonal and Straight Stripes Stencils for a more vivid design.

I stamped the penguins from the Roly Poly Penguins stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuexedo Black ink and used the coordinating Roly Poly Penguins Dies to die cut them out. I love that the die for the middle penguin also cuts out the wings so that you can tuck a gift inside. I colored them with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Penguins: T3/5/7/9, W00/0, Y38 YR04, R00/20
Red: R22/24/27/29/39
White: C00/1/3
Blue: B000/00

Sunny Studio Stamps: Buffalo Plaid Die Focused Holiday Card by Hanh Nguyen (featuring Roly Poly Penguins, Basic Mini Shape Dies)

For the background, I started with a piece of red cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). I adhered a slightly smaller piece of white cardstock on top. Then I took a piece of light blue cardstock and die cut it with the Buffalo Plaid Diagonal Die. I trimmed the panel to be slightly smaller than my white panel before adhering it on top of the white panel.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment from the Snowmen in Sweaters Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used the coordinating Snowmen in Sweaters Dies to die cut it out. I adhered the sentiment and the stack of penguins onto the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.

To add to the wintery vibes, I die cut and adhered a few snowflakes using the Basic Mini Shape 5 Dies. In an effort not to waste and to add more snow to my panel, I saved and adhered the little dots from the center of the snowflakes throughout the panel. Finally, I adhered the panel to a top folding white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. Be sure to check out the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop for more info and ideas. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations. Have a wonderful and crafty day!
