Oceans Of Joy Summer Themed Birthday Shadow Box Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a new technique, the "inside shadow box", that I've learned from Jennifer McGuire's YouTube channel. I just love this kind of simple yet surprising greeting cards, and I think they will make anyone's day. Don't you agree? I used two older stamp sets from Sunny Studio - Oceans Of Joy and Magical Mermaids.

I kept the front of the card simple and adorable. I used the turquoise polka dotted patterned paper from the Polka-Dot Parade paper pad just because - polka dots are life. Yes, I love them that much! I created a circle panel with basic dies, and then blended Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress inks onto it. I also stamped some bubbles with matching dye inks on the background.

All of the images are stamped with Versafine black ink and watercolored with Distress markers like I always do. I curved the sentiment and stamped it on the bottom part of the circle. The adorable turtle, along with his little friends, are bringing two balloons for someone inside this card.

Ok, this is the most exciting part. When you open the card, it creates a shadow box inside. Look who's here? The little mermaid and her little fellas. I love it so much and I think I will make tons of cards like this in the future. I adhered some of the images in the front panel and some of them in the back to create a proper dimensions.

This is how the card looks from different side. I stamped "happy birthday" inside. I hope you've enjoyed this fun card. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you next week!

Fast Food Fun We Make A Great Combo Card with Vanessa

Hi everybody! Vanessa here with another card using the yummy Fast Food Fun setI couldn't stop coloring the images from this set, they are all so cute!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fast Food Fun We Make A Great Combo Card by Vanessa Menhorn

First, I covered a card base with the red checked paper from the Classic Gingham 6x6 Paper Pad. Now I stamped all the images onto white paper, colored everything with Copics and die-cut the pieces with the matching dies. For more dimension and to make it more interesting, I adhered some images with foam tape, let them hang over the edge and trimmed them.

Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it to the card.

I really need to stop stamping food images, it always leaves me hungry :) Thanks for stopping by today!

Fast Food Fun Punny Card with Franci

Hi there, Franci here with you today! I'm sharing a card that I made with the Fast Food Fun set, one of my favorites!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Fast Food Fun Window Trio Circle Dies Punny Card by Franci Vignoli

First, I created my card base out of some white cardstock. I then cut a strip of this beautiful grey pattern paper from the Classic Gingham pattern paper pad that is 5 1/2" x 2" and I die cut it with the Window Trio Circle dies.

I sponged some distress ink onto the front of my card so that there's a little pop of color behind every circle opening and glued the pattern paper rectangle down with liquid glue.
I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Twisted Citron distress inks.

I stamped, colored and die cut all the images (using the coordinating dies), and stamped my sentiments. I glued down all the elements with foam adhesive and then I added lots of pop corns here and there as embellishments. I like to think of them as food lovers sequins! Ha!

Hope you like my card and thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a happy day!

Beach Babies Hello Sunshine Circle Card with Juliana

Hello Sunshine! It's Juliana Michaels and today I'm sharing a circle shaped Hello card using the new Beach Babies stamp set, Hello Word die and Fancy Frames Circle die set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Beach Babies Hello Word Die Fancy Frames Sunshine Circle Card by Juliana Michaels

I began by die cutting the large scallop circles from white cardstock using the Fancy Frame Circle die set. I then applied Distress Oxide Ink in Picked Raspberry to them using a foam blending brush.

Next, I used a plain circle die from my stash to cut a circle large enough to fit behind both frames and inked it with Distress Oxide in Salty Ocean. I splattered a little water onto it and dabbed it dry with a paper towel to give it a touch of interest.

To create the little beach scene, I stamped and colored several of images from the Beach Babies stamp set with Chameleon Pens. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies. I wanted her to look like she was at the beach, so I stamped and colored the island stamp from the Island Getaway stamp set. I then trimmed it to fit behind the circle frames. To give the images a bit of dimension, I adhered some of them with double sided foam adhesive.

For the sentiment, I used the Hello Word die to cut “hello” from black cardstock 3 times. I then glued these together to give the word some dimension. I then stamped the word “sunshine” from the Beach Babies stamp set onto to background.

To create the circle card base, I took a plain circle die and a piece of cardstock cut to 5x5 inches. I scored this and folded it in half. Next, I took the circle die and positioned it so that just a tiny bit of it overlapped the top fold on the card and ran it through my die cutting machine. I now had a circle shaped card! I then adhered my card design to the base and my circle shaped Hello card was complete!

I hope you enjoyed learning about how to create your own circle shaped card! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Berry Bliss Square Hello Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here today to share a card using the Berry Bliss stamp set along with a couple other dies to create a simple 'Hello' card that could be easily mass produced.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Berry Bliss Fancy Frames Hello Word Die Square Hello Card by Eloise Blue

To begin my card today, I started off with stamping out my berries. I used multiple Altenew Inks for my stamping, since they layer so nicely. Once they were all stamped, I cut them all out using the coordinating dies. While I had my die cutting machine out I also cut the Fancy Frames Squares Dies from some white cardstock, the Hello Word Die from some black cardstock and the banner from vellum from the Fancy Frames Rectangles Dies. Now that all my elements were cut, I could assemble  my card.

(Inks Used: Bamboo, Olive / Arctic, Caribbean Sky, Persian Blue / Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, Midnight Violet / Cotton Candy, Coral Berry, Ruby Red / Rouge, Crimson, Velvet)

I first cut down a piece of grey gingham paper from Classic Gingham and adhered it to a square card base. Then, I popped up my frame and fruits on foam tape and adhered them down as well. Next, I stuck my 'Hello' sentiment onto the vellum banner with liquid adhesive and then adhered my banner down as well onto my card.

That finished up my super simple card for today, I hope you enjoyed. It's definitely a design that can be easily mass produced since most of it is just die cutting and stamping. Instead of using patterned paper also you could use Background Basics stamp set for the same effect. Thanks so much for stopping by today.
