Quilted Hexagons Warm & Cozy Birthday Card with Nancy

Hey there Sunny fans, Nancy here today with a look at the new Quilted Hexagons release. This one little stamp set has endless design possibilities. The idea of making a custom quilt makes the crafter in me happy! There are some really beautiful patterns for mixing and matching.

I started by stamping the quilted border in a medium gray ink. I wanted to colors to really pop so using a neutral ink instead of black lets them shine through. I (carefully) used pigment ink to get a nice opaque coverage for the interior hexagons. I love how bold this pattern is.

I needed a heartwarming image to finish off the card and found the perfect little dog in the Pet Sympathy stamp set. He adds a sweet touch to this homemade card. A strip of pale gray cardstock divides the busy quilted pattern and the clean sentiment piece. A sprinkle of sequins and enamel hearts completes the card.

Take a look at the Quilted Hexagons stamp set for a dose of homemade goodness.

Barnyard Buddies Farm Themed Howdy Card with Eloise

Hi everyone. Eloise here today and I'm here to show you a card I made with the new Barnyard Buddies stamp set. I love farm themed sets, they're always so cute!

Sunny Studio Stamps: Barnyard Buddies Farm Themed Howdy Card by Eloise Blue

To begin my card today I stamped, coloured and die cut my images out. I used Copic markers to colour all my images in today. Next up I took a piece of masking paper and cut it at a curved. Then using the positive piece I placed it over the top of a piece of watercolour cardstock and blended some blue Distress Inks over top in a circular motion. I used Tumbled Glass and Broken China.

Once the blue sky was done, I used the negative piece I had, adhered it over top of the blue, lining up the curved edge and blended some green Distress Inks over top. I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for that, again, inking in a circular motion. I then took the nozzle from my water sprayer bottle and flicked on some water droplets, picked it up with a paper towel and dried it off with a heat tool.

Next up I adhered down all my images onto my small scene. I adhered the fences and barn flat onto my background and foam tape for my bale of hay, cow and chick images. To finish up my card I took the 'Howdy' sentiment from the Barnyard Buddies stamp set and stamped it down to the left in black ink. I adhered my panel down onto some yellow cardstock and then down onto a white card base and that finished up my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you're loving seeing all the inspiration for the new sets!

Two Scoops Ice Cream Stamped Background Card with Amy

Hello everyone! Amy here, and today I have a card that features one of my favorite layering stamp set, Two Scoops. This set is so much fun, easy to line up, and perfect for your summer projects.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Two Scoops Ice Cream Stamped Background Card by Amy Yang

To begin, I started by stamping an ice cream and a cherry on 110 Neenah white cardstock (I like to use heavy cardstocks when I know I'll be using a lot of Glossy Accents; it prevents the paper from warping) using dye inks. Next, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and applied Star Dust Stickles and Glossy Accents on the cherry and the ice cream. To make it extra special, I added real sprinkles on top while the glossy accent was still wet to glue it down.

For the background panel, I randomly stamped the ice creams with the little drips using dye inks on 5-1/4"x 4" cardstock. I only stamped the first layers to keep the colors soft; I didn't want them to stand out next to the featured ice cream. I heat embossed the sentiment on trimmed vellum paper.

To assemble the elements together, I wrapped the vellum and twine around the background panel and adhered it with tape. Next, I added foam tape behind the background panel (making sure not to cover the twine), then adhered it to A2 size yellow pattern paper. Attached that to the top folding card base. Lastly, I adhered foam tape behind the cherry and the ice cream, and mounted it onto the top of the card.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!

Happy Owl-o-ween Bumble Bee Themed Birthday Card with Lexa

Hello everyone! Lexa here today with a card featuring some of the brand spankin' new release stamps from Sunny Studio. I bet you are all giddy up seeing all the inspiration cards that Mendi made, she's amazing I know.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Quilted Hexagons and Happy Owl-o-ween Bumble Bee Themed Birthday Card by Lexa Levana

One of my favorite from the release is Happy Owl-o-weeen stamp set, he can be anything ... yes, anything! Lots of cute possibilities to dress up this owl into. This time he dressed up as a bee. He's adorable beyond words. And don't forget one more awesome set, Quilted Hexagons, as for this card I created a patterned beehive using this stamp set. I must say it looks beautiful and I can't wait to try another style with this, some colorful patterns will look gorgeous too.

I stamped the hexagons with some help from my stamping tool, as it really helped me to keep them straight and neat. Then I stamped some patterns with three different yellow inks. Two little bees are there to accompany the owl-bee, they are from Backyard Bugs and Sunny Sentiment. In case you didn't realize that the bee from each set are identically the same and facing each other.

I stamped the "birthday" from Quilted Hexagons and fussy cut them, then customized the sentiment paired along with "from owl of us". On this closer picture you can see that I layered a vellum behind the main image, it helps the owl-bee to stands out more.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you like my card and have an amazing day!

Barnyard Buddies Hilltop Barn Scene Card with Vanessa

Howdy y'all! Vanessa here with my first card using the new release! I think the Barnyard Buddies set is hilarious and enjoyed playing with this set first. Here is what I came up with.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Barnyard Buddies Hilltop Barn Scene Card by Vanessa Menhorn

I started with a panel of light blue cardstock. Then I trimmed a green panel the same size and cut a hill from it. After I had assembled the background, I die-cut two clouds using the Little Angels dies, adhered them to the panel and adhered the panel to the white card base. Now I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut them with the coordinating dies and adhered them to the card, using foam tape to pop some up.

For the fun flag, I stamped the "howdy!" onto a strip of patterned paper, notched one end, trimmed it and adhered it to a toothpick before tucking it behind the hen.

I hope you like these cute images as much as I do! Thank you for stopping by today!
