Perfect Popsicles Summery Popsicle Trio Card with Amy

Hello crafty friends! Amy here to share with you a summery card using the new and fabulous Perfect Popsicles stamp set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Perfect Popsicles Summery Popsicle Trio Card by Amy Yang

I used one of my favorite color combination to stamp the Perfect Popsicles using dye inks and cut them out with coordinating dies. Don't they look good enough to eat? Mendi did such an amazing job creating these layering stamps to give it realistic 3D look.

Using the same dye inks, I stamped the ink pad on acetate and added some water to dilute it. I used a paintbrush to pick up the colors, and added random dots to the card front.

Then, I used prepared trimmed Bristol cardstock to blend the same colors with a blending tool and added a sentiment from Perfect Popsicles. I adhered blended paper to the card front, and added a strip of white paper as shown. To finish, I popped up the Popsicle with foam tape for dimension and mounted the card front to the top folding card base.

Thanks for stopping by, see you again next Wednesday!

Magical Mermaids Summery Hello Card with Karin

Hi everyone, it’s Karin here. Today, I’m sharing a new, very summery, card that I've created with the new Magical Mermaids stamps.

I stamped the mermaid first and then masked her before stamping the rock. When that was done, I colored my image with Copic markers.

I made a card base from white cardstock and trimmed a panel that was slightly smaller and adhered that to the base with foam adhesive. I then die cut a stitched rectangle that I inked with distress ink and used that as a background panel for my mermaid. I cut a speech bubble from white cardstock and stamped my sentiments before adhering everything to the card with foam adhesive.

Two Scoops Ice Cream Cone Trio Birthday Card with Eloise

Hi everyone, Eloise here and today I have a card featuring the Two Scoops layering stamp set. I love these layering sets - they're so fun and super easy to line up and create with.

To begin my card today I went ahead and stamped out my ice creams. I used some Altenew Layering Inks to do my stamping of the layers - since they come in sets of colours that layer well together, which is super helpful. Once I stamped down all my ice creams, I also did the cones in some orange-y colours. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them all out.

For my background, I ink blended some Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed onto some watercolour paper lightly, then blended it out with some water. Once I was happy with the outcome I heat dried it with my heat tool. I went ahead and used a rounded rectangle die to die cut my water-coloured piece and then used some green cardstock and the Stitched Scallop dies to cut down a small strip of scallops to adhere onto the background. I also ran that piece back through with the rounded rectangle die so it would have the stitching on the sides, too.

I adhered the scallop strip and background together and then stamped the sentiment 'Have A Sweet Day' in black ink onto my background from the Perfect Popsicles stamp set. I then tied some hemp cord in a bow around the top of the scalloped piece. I adhered down my ice creams with some foam tape on top of my panel also.

To finish up my card I adhered down a piece of grey cardstock to my card base, then added fun foam onto the back of my panel and adhered that down to my card base too. For a last finishing touch I added some Wink of Stella in the clear onto the top of my ice creams and that finished up my card for this week.

I hope you enjoyed my card and got inspired and I'll catch you all next week!

Hi there!  It's Mendi here popping in with a little note to let you know that I will be out of the office May 22nd through May 31st to celebrate a special milestone anniversary with my husband (our first time away without kids in over 16 years). Yay!  I'm more than a little excited.

I wanted to make sure to let you know with a little advance warning in case you are needing something to be mailed out this week before my absence.  ;)

So sorry for the inconvenience...
