Hello there! I'm so excited to welcome Nichol Spohr Magouirk to the blog today! She is someone who I have admired for a number of years and I'm ecstatic that she agreed to be our special guest today!
For her first card Nichol created a darling scene using the Backyard Bugs and coordinating dies. She colored her images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and I love how vibrant and happy it is. That little rainbow caterpillar is super fun!
Nichol created a wonderful video to share with you today on how she created the Backyard Bugs card that you can view at her YouTube channel in HD here.
For her second card she used the Sending My Love stamps and coordinating dies.
I love her beautiful background, wonderful color scheme and how she shows the versatility of this stamp set and how it's good for more than just Valentine's Day cards. ;)
She has also created a video for her card that you can watch on YouTube in HD here:
I hope you will leave some love for Nichol. On the tiny chance that you aren't familiar with Nichol's work, you really must subscribe to her YouTube channel and blog. She is sure to inspire you on a regular basis!

Backyard Bugs Home Sweet Home Card with Elise
Hi there! It's Elise here this morning to share a "new home" card that features the "Backyard Bugs" stamp set and dies!
I started by stamping the images on white card stock and coloring them with Copic markers. I added the two smaller mushrooms on the sides to give the little ladybugs a bigger house!
For this card, I also used the "Sunny Borders" set for the banner, and the "Happy Home" set for the sentiment. I had to do some selective inking to get the sentiment arranged the way that I wanted for the banner. I also attached the images with foam tape, and I used two layers of foam for the banner so that it really stood out on the card. Here is a close up:
I hope you like the card! Thanks for stopping by this morning! :)

Backyard Bugs Polaroid Thanks Card by Marion
Hello again. Marion here with another card using the simply adorable Backyard Bugs stamp set. I also used the cloud stamp from the Rain or Shine set. I just love to frame any little scene I create, so a polaroid die from my stash did just the trick.
All the images were stamped, fussy cut and coloured with Copic markers. Once I had assembled my scene, I popped it up on some foam tape before mounting it to my card base, which I covered with some patterned paper.

Cute don't ya think?
I hope you are having an amazing week.

Backyard Bugs Fluttering By To Say Hi Card with Heidi
Hello there! Heidi here today with a card using the Backyard Bugs Stamps and coordinating dies. :)
To start my card I colored all my images using Copic markers. I then created my background by blending a piece of watercolor paper with Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass, and Peacock Feathers distress inks using a foam applicator. After the colors were blended, I splattered the panel with water and used a paper towel to pick up some of the color where the drops had been.
I finished off my card with a die-cut frame popped up with foam dots for added dimension.
Thanks so much for visiting. Make sure to check back tomorrow to see some more cute projects that the team will be sharing with this fun set.

Backyard Bugs Little Snail Mail Card with Melissa
Hello everyone, Melissa here! Today I have a card to share using the stamp set Backyard Bugs (and the letter from Sending My Love). This set is my favorite from the spring release, it is so good for making scenes and the little bugs are too cute!
To make this card I first stamped the sentiment on the top of a small rectangle of white card. I wanted to do this first so I knew exactly how much room I had to fit my scene. I then stamped and masked all of the images, starting in the foreground and working my way back. I then removed all of the masks and colored the images with Copic markers. To finish up the card I attached it to a piece of yellow patterned paper.
I hope you enjoyed the card for today and that you love this stamp set as much as I do! Don’t forget to check back for more inspiration!
