Happy Owl-o-ween Bumble Bee Halloween Card with Vanessa

Happy Thursday, everybody! Vanessa here with a cute Halloween card using the adorable Happy Owl-o-Ween set. I loved dressing up the fun owl with the bumble bee costume.

First, I trimmed a panel of orange patterned paper slightly smaller than the black card base. Then I stamped the stars and the "boooooo" and applied droplets of black ink. I inked the edges of the panel with an ink blending tool and adhered it to the card. 

Next I stamped the owl and the parts of the costume. I colored everything with Copics, die-cut the images with the matching dies, assembled the pieces and adhered it to the card with foam tape. I stamped and heat-embossed the wings onto vellum, die-cut them and adhered them to the owl.

Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it to the card.
