Designer's Choice Cards with Vanessa and Audrey

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a fun card using the cute Country Carnival set.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Country Carnival Card by Vanessa Menhorn (featuring Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies, Balloon Rides)

I die-cut the Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies from black and white cardstock, inked the white rectangles with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink, added ink droplets and adhered the black frame and the inked pieces to the card. Now I stamped the images, colored everything with Copic markers, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered the scene to the card.

These are the sets I used today:

This set is the cutest, I'd love to join the little bears! Although the tiny images made me realize how much I need glasses :)

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for visiting!

Hello friends! Audrey here with a baby card to share with you today!  I used my favorite image from the adorable Baby Elephants for this project.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Baby Elephant Card by Audrey Tokach (featuring Basic Mini Shapes)

To create my card, I started off by watercoloring a piece of watercolor paper cut to 4" by 5.25".  I used Distress inks in Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot and Dusty Concord. Then I splattered on some gold watercolor and watered down white acrylic paint to add starts to my sky. I stamped and colored the little elephant sleeping on the moon, and die cut him with the coordinating Baby Elephants dies. The clouds are stamped from this set, and a few other Sunny Studio sets for various sizes.

I arranged my scene and popped everything with foam tape. Before adhering anything down, I added a strip of blue striped paper from the Dots & Stripes Jewel Tones paper pad.  A sentiment from the set was stamped onto a white banner and tucked under the clouds. Then, I die cut some starts from gold glitter paper using the Basic Mini Shapes II dies. The panel was popped up on an A2 card base, and I added some white gel pen accents to finish off my card.

Designer's Choice Cards with Marine and Marieke

Hello crafty friends, Marine here, so happy to be back on the blog with this cute and colorful summer card. To create this lovely scene, I picked my images from different sets:

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tiki Time Summer Card by Marine Simon (featuring Beach Babies, Fabulous Flamingos, Kiddie Pool, Seasonal Trees, Sending Sunshine)

I stamped all those images using an alcohol marker friendly black ink, used the coordinating dies to cut them all, and colored everything using my alcohol markers.

Next I moved on to the background. I cut a 5,5" x 4,25" bristol panel, and used a hill stencil along with distress oxide inks to create a beach scene at sunset. At the bottom: antique linen + vintage photo to make a sand border. At the top: squeezed lemonade + dried marigold + kitsch flamingo + picked raspberry to make a sunset sky.

Once the panel was dry, I attached all my cute images using 1mm and 2mm foam squares. Next I stamped my sentiment "Happy Summer" on the bottom part, and finished my card by adding highlights and details on the images using a white gel pen.

And that's it! I hope you like this sweet summer card. As always you can check the process video for more information (click on the image above), and I will be back next week with a new super cute scene! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Sunny Studio friends, Marieke here and this time I decided to create a Clean and Simple card using the fun shark that comes in the Fintastic Friends stamp. First off I cut a white rectangle and ink blended the colors Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire. Splattered some water and let it dry.

Out of white cardstock I cut a photo frame and stamped the sentiment out of the Snail Mail Stamp. Stamped the shark and mirror stamped the same shark and colored it up using my Copic markers. Die cut the left shark using the Fintastic Friends dies and cut the other one with my scissors. Stamped the hearts, colored them up with my Copics and also cut them with my scissors.

Used Copic Colors:
Sharks - BV17, BV04, BV13, BV02 / R24, R22, R20/ W5, W3, W1, W00, 0
Hearts - R59, R29, R27, R24

Designer's Choice Cards with Gladys and Alma

Hello everyone! Gladys here with a cute baby card using the adorable Baby Elephant stamps and dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Baby Elephant Card by Gladys Marcelino

First I began with an A2 size panel cut from Bristol smooth cardstock. I created the background using distress oxide inks. I used a cloud stencil on the bottom half of the panel with the color tumbled glass. For the top half I used chipped sapphire on the outer edge and tumbled glass in the center. For interest I splattered water droplets, diluted chipped sapphire, and diluted bleed proof white paint using a small fan brush.

While waiting for the panel to dry I chose three images from the Baby Elephant stamp set. I stamped them onto 110lb cardstock and colored with copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Next I adhered the images with double sided foam tape to give dimension. For the sentiment I white heat embossed on vellum. For a final touch I scattered a bunch of small iridescent stars all over the panel. That completes my card, I hope you like it. Have a wonderful day!

Hello, this is Alma and today I want to show you a summerly beach card. As a basis for my card, I chose the frame die from the Comic Strip Speech Bubbles Die set. This is a great way to create several small scenes on a card that fit together perfectly.

Sunny Studio Stamps: Sealiously Sweet Card by Alma Störk (featuring Comic Strip Speech Bubble Dies, Ocean View, Beach Buddies)

First I stamped the images from the Sealiously Sweet StampsOcean View Stamps and Beach Buddies Stamps sets and coloured them with Copics. I coloured the seals in warm shades of gray and gave their fur a bit of structure with dots and a white gel pen.

Then I wiped beach backgrounds with Distress Inks and glued everything together. The figures are glued on with 3d pads. Finally, I punched out the speech bubble from the Comic Strip Speech Bubbles Die Set and stamped the text on it. The card is ready!
