Designer's Choice Cards with Franci and Candice

Hello there and happy Friday! It's Franci here with you today and I'm happy to share this super cute card I made with the Cruisin' Cuisine set!

Awww this card is my fave, so clean and simple but "oh so cute!". First of all I covered the front of my cardbase with some red Classic Gingham patterned paper, then I die cut my coordinated white panel with the Fishtail Banner II dies and stamped my sentiment at the bottom.

Then I stamped, colored with copics and die cut all my images from the Cruisin' Cuisine set + coordinated dies and the Summer Sweets set + coordinated dies. I glued them down, added some little hearts and mounted my panel to my cardbase.

It's Candice with you today sharing a sweet card with you using the Enchanted stamp set!

I used a few Sunny Studio products for my card:

• Enchanted stamps & coordinating dies
• Fancy Frames Rectangle dies
• Basic Banners stamps & coordinating dies
• Spring Fling paper pad

For my background, I used a pattern from the Spring Fling set and framed it with the stitched scalloped in thick white cardstock with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the castle, frog, princess and stars, colored them with copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also, stamped the banner and sentiment and cut out with the matching dies.

To put the card together, I simply glued the castle and stars down and used foam tape to pop up the cuties!

Hello to you! Vanessa here with a last summer card using the adorable summer release. It's been such fun creating with these stamps! I thought it would be cute to put the seal from Sealiously Sweet onto even more swim tires:

I first trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than my card base and masked off a strip to ink it with blue Distress Oxide ink. After I had adhered the panel to the card, I die-cut a half circle using the Stitched Arch Dies, colored it with Copics and adhered it. Now I stamped the images from Sealiously Sweet, Seasonal Trees and Beach Babies onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, hand-cut the seal and the tires, die-cut the rest with the matching dies and adhered the elements to the card.

Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it to the card with foam tape.

Hello everyone, Anja here. Today I have another summer inspiration project for you. I came up with this tag featuring a little underwater scene.

First, I chose the waves patterned paper from the Summer Splash Paper pack. I used the second largest Stitched Arch Die to create the tag. I extended it in heighth by die cutting the first half, shifting the die a bit and running it through again. I also die cut the small hole at the top and added some navy/white bakers twine.

I stamped the seal (the Sealiously Sweet Stamps), fish (Best Fishes Stamps) and ocean border (Tropical Scenes Stamps) in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the images with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To be able to line up the ocean border with the tag, I die cut it with the bottom part of the stitched arch die.

The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I finished off the tag with clear enamel dots.

Designer's Choice Cards with Tammy and Ana

Hi there! Tammy here, sharing this Incredible's inspired birthday card, perfect for the superhero in your life! We love the Pixar move, The Incredibles! I think I must have watched it 50 times with my daughter, lol! I thought it would be fun to turn the super heroes from Super Duper into my favorite Super hero family!

To begin, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to 3 1/2 X 8 1/2", and ink blended it with Fired Brick, Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks. I added some little white stars by splattering white acrylic paint onto my background. Next, I cut 2 borders from black cardstock using the Cityscape Border Die and backed them with a light yellow cardstock to make it look like the buildings are lit from within. I lined them up along the bottom and trimmed off the excess from the sides.

 

Next, I stamped and colored with Copic markers the images from Super Duper. I then die cut the colored images with the coordinating Super Duper Dies.

I arranged the colored images onto my background and adhered with foam tape for dimension. Next, I cut a white speech bubble, using the Comic Strip Speech Bubbles Die. I stamped the sentiment from Super Duper in black ink and attached it to my card. To finish up, I cut the tiny white stars from the same die, glued onto the background, and attached it to a 3 1/2 X 8 1/2" white card base.

Hello crafty friends! It’s Ana with a super adorable friendship card featuring City Streets stamps and coordinating dies.

With all the craziness in the world I haven’t really been able to see my best friend as often as I would like so I decided to make her a sweet card to let her know I missed her. I thought City Streets stamp set would be absolutely perfect for this occasion. I started with stamping the images and coloring them with Copic markers. Once they were colored, I used coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the background I used Bristol smooth paper, masked the bottom third with masking paper and inked light blue sky with Colorbox Dyestress ink in Tahiti. I removed the masked and masked the top part and inked the grass with Colorbox Dyestress ink in Shamrock, then added some water droplets to the inked areas and let them dry for a few minutes.

I stamped the sentiments next, then added the images with foam tape. I finished the card by adding a few highlights with white gel pen. This was super quick and easy card to make and I just love how it turned out!

Don’t you just love this sweet stamp set and all you can do with these adorable images?! I think this card will put a big smile on my friend’s face!

Designer's Choice Cards with Angelica and Juliana

Hi friends! This is Angelica, and I have a fun card to share today, showcasing the Savannah Safari stamp set.

I stamped the images with chocolate ink, and colored them with Copic Markers. I made an ink-blended background, using Picked Raspberry and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide inks. I die-cut the inked panel with a Stitched Semi-Circle die, and glued on some Botanical Backdrop greenery. 

To assemble the card, I die-cut kraft card stock with the large Frilly Frames Retro Petals die, and attached it to a card base. I added the semi-circle, and attached the safari friends with thin foam squares. Lastly, I added a white heat-embossed sentiment , which I paired with a thin strip of pink Striped Silly pattern paper, and yellow glitter paper.

Hello Sunny Studio friends! It's Juliana and today I'm sharing not one, but two ocean themed birthday cards. They feature the Sea You Soon Stamp Set, Tropical Scenes Stamp Set and Best Fishes Stamp Set.

I began by stamping images from the Sea You Soon Stamp Set, Tropical Scenes Stamp Set and Best Fishes Stamp Set. I colored all of the images with Copic Markers and then die cut them using the coordinating dies. When creating scene cards, I usually stamp and color a ton of images to have on hand. This way I can mix and match to figure out which ones to group together as I play around with creating each scene.

Once all of the coloring and stamping was completed, I began working on the frame area for each scene. I die cut the frame using the Fancy Frames Square Dies from a piece of cardstock. I backed the frame with double sided foam adhesive strips and then added a piece of patterned paper from the Summer Splash Paper and the ocean coral border from the Tropical Scenes Stamp Set. I cut the border in half and was able to use each piece - one for each card.

I then went about mix and matching the various images to create each scene. To finish off the card I added the sentiment from the Best Fishes Stamp Set onto a strip of white cardstock.
